  1. Seeing that there's no thread specifically for Storm Collectibles Action Figure line, I decided to make one. I love the Tekken game on Playstation and for some reasons, the only great action figures that came from this game are the PlayArts Kai of Kazuya and Jun which I didn't have since they're too glossy for my taste. There were numbers of old Bandai figure released from Tekken3, but it didn't grab my attention. When Heihachi was announced last year, I preordered one with hopes that Kazuya or Jin will come next. If not, atleast, I can get Ryu or Akuma from this line as well to go along with Heihachi -- to mimic Street Fighter X Tekken. But after doing some research the other day, I found out that they will indeed do Kazuya next. So I guess, it's just appropriate to create this thread dedicated to their Action Figure line. I know they have a 1/6th scale line, but let's post that on the respective 1/6 thread that we already have. From what I've seen based on reviews at YouTube, everyone seemed to like it. Looks like they're doing a great job. I noticed that they somehow market these figs as 1/12, but when I try to search online Ryu's character height for example, it seems that he's in the 1/10th scale rather than 1/12th. The Figuarts counterpart however is near the 1/12 range somehow. I'm sure at the end of the day, it's nice to have some of our favorite fighting game character in scale with each other so that we can do our own cross-over matches. Anyways, I will just post here photos taken from their Facebook page during this year's Toy Fair in New York. I will add more info down the line such as video reviews from YouTube and any tid and bits found somewhere. Just browse their main site if you want to learn more of what they've already produced. Most are still available at BBTS. And please, if you find any info or upcoming news, and if you have yourself some Storm's Action Figure, please feel free to post it here. And to be honest, I really don't want to start another line, but how can I resist TEKKEN now since they already announced my favorite evil dude -- Kazuya.

    Strike A Pose! revisted...

By the way, if you find the back plate is loose in Battroid mode, you can bend more the shoulder plate towards the back to lock it more.

Nice Gerwalk and Battroid pic, Kuma. And less effort too for doing obari pose.

  7. The world of Pokémon comes to life! The first-ever live-action Pokémon movie, “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” stars Ryan Reynolds as the titular character in the first-ever live-action movie based on the iconic face of the global Pokémon brand—one of the world’s most popular, multi-generation entertainment properties and most successful media franchises of all time. Fans everywhere can now experience Pikachu on the big screen as never before, as a talking detective Pikachu, a Pokémon like no other. The film also showcases a wide array of beloved Pokémon characters, each with its own unique abilities and personality. The story begins when ace private eye Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son Tim to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry’s former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu: a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who is a puzzlement even to himself. Finding that they are uniquely equipped to communicate with one another, Tim and Pikachu join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery. Chasing clues together through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City—a sprawling, modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side by side in a hyper-realistic live-action world—they encounter a diverse cast of Pokémon characters and uncover a shocking plot that could destroy this peaceful co-existence and threaten the whole Pokémon universe. “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” also stars Justice Smith (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”) as Tim; Kathryn Newton (“Lady Bird,” TV’s “Big Little Lies”) as Lucy, a junior reporter following her first big story; and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (“Godzilla,” “The Last Samurai”) as Lt. Yoshida. Directed by Rob Letterman (“Goosebumps,” “Monsters Vs. Aliens”), the “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” creative filmmaking team includes two-time Oscar nominated director of photography John Mathieson (“The Phantom of the Opera,” “Gladiator”), production designer Nigel Phelps (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies”) and Oscar-winning editor Mark Sanger (“Gravity”). Visual effects are by Moving Picture Company (“Wonder Woman”) and Framestore (“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”). Launched in 1996 to overwhelming response, the Pokémon brand is a global sensation that now encompasses a robust video gaming fandom with over 300 million units sold worldwide; the Pokémon Trading Card Game available in 11 languages with more than 23.6 billion cards shipped; an animated television series in its 21st season that is available in more than 160 countries; and over 20 animated films; as well as books, manga comics, music, toys, merchandise, and apps, including the wildly popular Pokémon GO, that has been downloaded over 850 million times and is enjoyed across the globe by fans of all ages. “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” is set for release on Friday, May 10, 2019. The film will be distributed outside of Japan and China by Warner Bros. Pictures, in Japan by Toho Company, Ltd. and by Legendary East in China.

He will do a new one for sure. After all Tenjin needs to fill his 'upcoming' Valkyries Fourth Sortie book.

DX VF-25 Renewal Series (Part III)

No worries sir. Though I'm hoping @Saburo's pic will persuade you on getting it.
  10. Thanks Tking. I actually did try to call some Gamestop locally and ask. And they also check inventory online if they can find me a set. But sad to say, it's sold out. Not a biggie since I wasn't really planning on getting it. And I'm not going to pay on how much it's asking for nowadays. So that's it.

DX VF-25 Renewal Series (Part III)

Noice!!! You're also planning on getting its Armored Pack? Not sure if you already mentioned it so I was just asking.
  12. Congrats. Because I checked this days ago and earlier but it's not available online.
  13. Ok. Understood. I'll let you guys 'enable' me to get it. I'll check my local Gamestop if they still have it. But I'm not going to get it as far as the online prices going for those nowadays. Just sayin'.

    Nice shot, Kuma.

    Whats next for Arcadia?

Based on that blog, the non-scale Minmay stands about 15.5cm. So it's around 1/10 scale. Also, the 'variable' stand has some added 'feet'. Though the one on the left doesn't have. If it is, I wonder now how many of that stands will fit in a Detolf shelf?
  16. Congrats on that one, Kuma! Glad that you're branching out more towards Macross. Btw, don't play in the kitchen, ok? It's already sold out in Gamestop, sir. But thanks, I think I'll just pass on this. Lots of upcoming cool figs and mechas this mid-year.

    DX Chogokin VF-1J

Seeing that retail price, I wonder how many tried to ask the store owner if he could buy the said display item as is? Or Seti could sell it afterwards if he didn't like it anymore. Right, Duymon?
  18. As per some post on Twitter, it looks like it's an upcoming 1/6 scale action figure from Max Factory that was display in the recent WonderFest. Too bad the provided link in one of the feeds is not working.

sh9000 is secretly planning to recreate the Daedalus Attack scene. He's getting those extra Monsters to compensate the missing Tomahawks. By the way, love the 'Armored Factory' setup.
  21. Deym! That's a massive haul right there, Anubis. Everyone is posting their Neca Movie Turtles. Now I'm contemplating if I should get a set. If only it comes with a Vanilla Ice bonus figure. Then that's a no-brainer for me. Hahaha!
  22. no3Ljm

I knew it! Same here. Ride Armor color is too dark blue. And the extra exhaust is too much. Still hope there's a chest missile gimmick still. As for the Legioss, I can't help thinking that somehow the proportion is closer to Wave's kit than the other figure version. But overall, I'm loving what I see here. Now I'm thinking if I need to get 2 for Legioss. If only if it's $50 cheaper.
