  1. I frankly enjoyed the intensity of the film and the well crafted scenes to give an extremely believable and convincing scenes of brutality. Truly this film might need to be watched a second time to adsorb everything that is looked upon in the film. The awkward pacing and Batman's over the top voice can be a little distracting, but I'm nitpicking its an excellent film. Well worth my $8.75 for the ticket and real movie experience.
  2. I have to say I wasn't really impressed with Classics Sunstreaker, but in person and for $10.00 he's a real winner and very well articulated. Kudos to Hasbro for this great update to a classic transformer.
  3. Man you stole what I was going to say. I couldn't agree more CM's Mospeada toys are just overpriced and underwhelming. Although the legioss is arguable.
  4. Well I certainly hope those spoilers don't come into reality. Honestly the 2nd one is just WTF and number 1 would make me want to kill Suzaku even more unless he starts spinning again.
  5. I'm perfectly fine with Code Geass being two seasons as I think most anime shouldn't really exceed the 50 episode mark or it just loses its flair like some much other crap out there.
  6. As I stopped by my local Walmart I picked up an animated Megatron! Today I'll provide a short review and a few pictures to show how badass this guy is. First of all, man this thing is incredibly accurate to the cartoon. Articulation is excellent as he has double jointed elbows, wrist rotation, bicep swivel, rotates at the shoulders, in and out for hips, bends at the knees, swiveling ankles, turns at the neck and swivels on the leg. In addition ratchets all over from the elbows, shoulders, knees, hips just and awesome click everywhere! The cocking mechanism on the gun works nicely too. Both modes are pretty solid, but the arms could lock a little tighter. My only real complaint with the figure is the odd leg design where posing can be a little tricky, but its not bad at all. Overall this figure is a solid 8.7/10 as it satisfies greatly for a $40 transformer. The electronic features are neat too.
  7. Cool episode and I hope to see next week's hopeful explanation of what geass is and who created it. In season 1 I didn't really hate Suzaku, but now especially what he did in today's episode to Kallen I want him to get his ass kicked so hard that he would be gasping for air and kicked across the floors of Ashford. He's such a hypocrite about doing things peacefully yet he goes and is trying to use drugs on Kallen. Must form a kill Suzaku clan and see how many join me.
  8. Just watched it a few minutes ago and I didn't think the movie was terrible. However the story could of been so much better and the acting talent wasn't drawn out well with the script. However the effects were pretty decent and the set looks fantastic. A little shaky camera angles at times, but nothing a certain monster movie that came out recently. Overall a decent rental to fulfill a lazy Saturday night.
  9. I really would like to see Motormaster handled as an ultra not so much Hotspot, but Motormaster is all sorts of badass.
  10. Totally agree with you about Powerglide being in the wrong class. If Hasbro made the thing look good then I would say otherwise, but man his mold looks kinda lame. Something I want to see after I saw and handled an SOC Godmars is I want Hasbro to make more combiners. I know they said it was too expensive, but man do I miss combining all the guys together to make a complete monster of a transformer. Today with modern toy engineering they could make a combiner to have to some decent articulation and not just the standard rotation of the shoulders and the rest is a brick. I pray animated would have a combiner some day.
  11. Personally I hope Bandai doesn't go with the "crazy business profit making vortex of doom" method of releasing the naked VF-25, then one with fast packs then one with armor and nothing sold separately. Honestly like most of us here we just want one of each VF-25 due to money constraints. I want the fast packs and armor too, but not if it means I have to buy 2 more gift sets to have all three variations. Bandai heed my words!
  12. Hmmm I think I'm still going to wait out for reviews of the thing and whether Bandai will release a huge giftset or separate fast packs. Although that is a pretty good price and OverDrive does have good service. It will be great for people who are willing to bite first.
  13. By looking at this prototype picture the antennas on the head look a lot closer to the head.
  14. For those who have doubts on whether Bandai will give the VF-25 a clear visor here's a picture that I dug out that shows the VF-25 having a clear visor on the prototype.
  15. Ahh just looking at the hands over and over again is such a relief to my eyes. No more KFC chicken hands. Is it just me or does the nose of fighter look pointier and sharper. Overall a beautiful representation of the VF-1. Man I wish I got to put the fast packs on the sample I handled.
  16. Possibly UM could be pale blue or that could be one of the worst over sprays in Hasbro history! Besides was the one being reviewed already packaged and the final product? I've noticed a slight deviation in some of the animated figures paint schemes in the early ones being reviewed that are like prototypes. I hope UM will be white. Powder blue on this Magnus = no no
  17. Stopped by my local Walmart today to pick up some shipping supplies and I just took a peak at their TF section and bam they restocked there whole animated supply along with the casual movie figures. Picked me up a Grimlock and he's one sexy beast. No animated leaders, but I did spot two supreme primes and bunch of voyagers. No prime voyage class though. Here's Grimlock himself!!!
  18. I asked OverDrive and they told me it wasn't up on the site yet. Supposedly they had Save do the review for them so I expect it to be like his Bubblegum Crisis toy review.
  19. Oh and just for a heads up as I was talking to one of the guy's at Overdrive's booth in AX and I have some more cool news. Apparently OverDrive is good friends with the president of Beagle and will be receiving a sample of the beagle ride armor some time near the release of the figure and make a review for it. Additionally the representative told me if beagle does go with a 20,000 yen price OverDrive will try to to get it for a significantly less price to pass on the savings to us fans.
  20. I got back from anime expo last night and I got to handle the new 1/60 VF-1S at Overdrive's booth and here's some of my thoughts on this item. In addition I also took a few pictures of the box as well as the figure. The joints seem nice and tight with ratchets at the knees, elbows, ankles while everything else was a friction ball joint like the 1/48. I have to say the double jointed elbows makes quite a nice difference in posing the figure. When I lifted the toy up it was pretty light weight, but the plastic felt nice and sturdy. One thing I didn't really like was how the neck piece wasn't quite tight, but possibly it wasn't locked down all the way and I didn't want to force anything down on this sample. The hands are nice and meaty very MG style. Proportions and details also looked great. I would of transformed it, but that would mean I would have to snag a chair and fiddle with the thing for like an hour, however it seemed like it transformed like the 1/48 with a few differences. Overall I like the look of this new figure and I hope with the fast packs this one won't be as top heavy. Kudos to Overdrive and there friendly service I had a great time talking to one of the representatives there and I hope they succeed further in the business.
  21. Supposedly Overdrive Inc booth #111 I think has the sample of the 1/60 VF-1S at AX. I can't wait to get my hands on it!
  22. This is bull I can't download the HD raw. Why is "403 Forbidden" this nonsense! Gun please?
  23. I think it is the coloring of the pictures. They all look photo shopped!
  24. I'm fan of Code Geass and I would agree that R2 's failure to start right after the cliffhanger did somewhat disappoint me. However I wouldn't say R2 is that much of a disappoint to be compared to Seed Destiny because that series was just flat out bad and so was Seed. At least R2 is entertaining and contains some cool plot twists. However since everyone is getting a geass it is getting a little annoying. Additionally this series is in at episode 12 so there's still hope for things to pick up more.
  25. I'll be attending this Saturday dressed in a Code Geass Zero costume. Ill definitely stop by Overdrive's booth.
