Current state of the collection, just what I have on display right now. I have sold off a bunch and still have a bunch of stuff in boxes in the garage. Loved looking at all the rest of the collections. As far as what others think. I dont care what others think, I have them on display front and center and dont care who sees them. My house, my interest, get over it if you have an issue.

Very nice, I like it. I especially like the skull squad emblem on the base.

There is a clear winner here. I am a battroid guy, the vf-4 just looses me, while the vf-2ss is damn sexy in battroid.

After much consideration...... I CHOOSE YOU VF-2SS! Sorry vf-0d

I have always dreamed of making a display of a VF with all the possible armaments laid out around it like they do at the dealer shows. Ground crews, ground vehicles, battroid side covers, more 1/48 fast packs.... like this:

The vf-4 to me is just a big no. I can see why so many like the fighter mode, it is unique and fits more into macross than the 17 and 19 in design. But I just cant get past the battroid mode. The vf-17 and vf-19 are also out of the question, the whole sound force thing is just silly and the valk designs are just as silly. I tried watching M7 and could not get into it at all. I am really torn between the vf-0d and the vf-2ss. The 0d is probly a good choice as it shares most of its frame with the 0a and 0s so making a 0d should be cost effective. The vf-2ss while the fighter mode is sleek and sexy I can see why some say it does not fit macross cannon. Battroid mode I just love. It reminds me so much of the vf-1 and to me is a logical progression in design. The sap I can live with or with out. Going to have to ponder it further.

We need captain america to the rescue! Make us up a whole line of valk accessories, please!

I was really disappointed. There are so many holes in this story you could drive the mothership through. The ending to me was an obvious teaser for the second movie. Which also explains all the huge holes in the story, cause they will be "answered" in the next movie, District 10 perhaps. I could keep going but you get the point. These are all rhetorical I don't really expect anyone to answer.

This is killing me.. I had to sit through GI SUCK tonight when I really wanted to see District 9. Grrrrrrrr...... Good news is I get to see it sunday, yea me.

Not to brag but I probly have over 100 pieces from big to small. It would take me a few days to go through them all and compile a list. Which I have thought of doing but it is just so daunting to me that I never have. My point is just this for all those of you who feel you have a small collection dont despair. I have been collecting Macross toys since 1986. Many of you are younger and will come into your own. Again I am not bragging, just dont lose sight of where you are in life in comparison to others collections. I am actually at a point now where I have decided I have too much and am working on thining down the herd to a more managable size. Too much of a good thing perhaps.
