Is it just me or are the prices of Yamato valks rocketing up on eBay? Bandai frontier valks prices are staying steady, but the Yamato's are climbing up. I wonder if the market is sensing scarcity?

Why don't I have my VF-0D in my hands yet???? I preordered back in October, it's now February. How much longer must I wait. Let's go, what's the hold up Arcadia! /rant. I am hoping I have it by my Birthday on the 24th.

Version one Yamatos. Well what can you say about them. How about. They were ground breaking for their time. They were the newest "perfect transformation" valks in decades. The best thing before them were the Bandai chunky monkeys, BLEH. They ushered in a new era of valk pricing, collecting and new interest in the franchise. Were they perfect no, Yamato did open up a whole new world for us and I am grateful. If I had to give up all but one of my valks, I would keep my V1 VF-1J supa. Love that toy in battroid more than any of the others.

Touching on an earlier topic, when I watch Macross Zero my impression was that the 0D was a two man fighter and in no way a trainer. Shin was a capable pilot on combat patrol. Most definitely think the 0D is an homage to the F-14 tomcat.

Well I went for it and put in my preorder on hlj,com. I really don't want to miss out on this one. This is my first ever preorder.... EVER!! Never been worried about getting one before, not like this. Just here lately with all the (Bandai) web exclusives and so on and where I normally shop (eBay) seeing higher and higher prices. Man how things have changed since the good ol Yamato days.

WHOLLY HELL! I can't believe I am paying this much. I hope this is not the new norm. I am starting to appreciate the Bandai DX line more now. I have been trying to keep my purchases under $200 on my valks, but that is now blown outta the water with the vf-0d. Keeping in mind I know about the vf-4, I just thought that was a limited run kinda thing. I was not interested in the vf-4 at all. Or maybe I am just that out of touch. VF-0D on preorder at amiami.com for $296.02, only bad thing is they don't accept cancelations. Any one else find a better deal?

Definitely my favorite right now, until perhaps when the VF-0D comes out. Really like the valk mode, I have not transformed it yet. I may have to get another to display in valk and battroid. Yes the pilot is like a BB in the cockpit.

Did someone say Calvin? Been waiting for this since day one when Macross Zero came out. I will just have to let my YF-30 soften the pain for now.

If the vf-4 ugly duckling can get a perfect transforming 1/60 version. Arcadia must right this injustice and do the vastly superior vf-2ss. VIVA LA VF2SS!!
