  1. You guys still think it's a sequel now?
  2. Ok. Just don't take that bet to Vegas. You will find out who originally defeated Mumm-ra. Hint: It wasn't the original Thundercats, who mysteriously have the same names as the present team.
  3. I got a behind the scenes look in June. It's a reboot.
  4. This is a complete reboot. They will go into the past of the ThunderCats, but that past is not the original series. In this series, Thundara is a kingdom on Third Earth, not a planet.
  5. Noriko, I cant seem to find your FB page by searching at all. Have a link? Oh, and I won this cel on YJ a few weeks ago.
  6. Got a hold of a Perfect Piece JGSDF Arm Suit, which is in scale with the PP Tachikoma. Strange design, but neat and surprisingly posable. I had never seen a non-stock photo of this guy until I took them myself.
  7. I liken GunBuster and Diebuster to Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. The originals were loved, and the ones that came after were good in their own right, but for different reasons that the first. They don't have a whole lot to do with each other, but the threads that tie them together, and the Easter Eggs, etc, are cool if you liked the original. They both have "HOLY SH-" moments that tie back to the originals, but aren't meant to out do what came before. I like Diebuster, I think the original is better, but I'm ok with it for what it is. The ending was awesome, as was the reveal in ep 4 with the Space Monsters.
  8. I just watched the first couple eps the other day, and there is no way Noriko from the OVA could pull off those breasts with assistance from any clothing. Definitely an exaggeration.
  9. I agree, I don't really like it either. but I guess you answered my question as to if anyone else had seen it. If you haven't, then no one has.
  10. Any idea on what this is? Wonderfest exclusive? Noriko Figure Just curious as I have never seen it before. Boobs are a little big to be Noriko's, maybe she's all grown up?
  11. HLJ has the Mac+ GNUs for sale, so combined with their free EMS shipping deal, I bit. For a little over $10 USD a pop, they're a good deal, and I'm glad that I own them. But no way would I pay over $30 for one. If they keep going on sale, I'll grab as many as I can. I just wish they had thigh swivels. The 11B and the 21 can manage, but the 19 really needs more range of motion, and thigh swivels would help immensely. I also echo the complaints about not including fast packs. Kaiyodo did it. For these prices, it's very lame.
  12. Yeah, I might have to stick with Revoltechs for now.
  13. Well, the cheaper version is the normal version, really. It's whats offered at HLJ for the $600+. The other version runs more, I assume. And agreed on all other counts. Since Gainax and Kaiyodo have had such a good working relationship for all these years, I do wish there would be more GB figures. While I appreciate the Yamaguchi GB, it needs an update. And I would scoop up some Fraulein in a heartbeat. And Revoltech Sizzlers and RX-7s? I'll buy multiples.
