  1. i do like the cavity fillers too, but it is not a deal breaker. If the animation would have not shown those gap fillers, i would have been perfectly ok without them. I love Kawamori's VF-1 design too much anyway. Maybe if they make a 1/35th scale, they can incorporate those into the design. All that aside, I believe the VF-1 legs get more attractive with each iteration of the valk. The 1/60 ver 2 made them sleek and refined. Now this Dxmakes the legs refined but also a bit more angular in some places.
  2. LOL. now I need to change the head position... Pretty much...
  3. Thanks Ignacio, I love the head position as well. I was trying to capture 5 1/48,and 2 1/60 in the same picture. I do love posing my figures... every few months... From the front, you can see how the head is cocked to one side. All things considered, I am lad Bandai gave the1/48 VF-1 design a try. You really feel its heft, while you handle this thing. Also, i like how the feet make the metallic "tiiing" noise when you bump into them with your fingers or nails. I really wish they would have handled the swing bar differently, but hey.... It is what it is.
  4. Oh my goodness! Thanks guys! That is definitely a labor of work. If I ever do something to it, would be a paintjob, and some detailed illustrative "panel" work. Great Job @tekering!
  5. I finally transformed the 1S
  6. Youtube! You're right, i have learned o do so many things thanks to youtube!. Thanks for the tip. I 've been meaning to do this for a while now. I bought some used blackseries stormtroopers years ago, and some of them are all loose, sadly. I just wanted to army build those and I got some pre-abused ones i guess. Thanks for the tips @borgified. I was going to get that Bondic stuff, sculpt a bigger ball joint over the ball joint, and then pop them back in. Has anyone experimented with Bondic? Is it as good as they advertise it is?
  7. Indeed! That is the Bandai version, and I still think Kaneda is a bit oversized in relation to the bike. I displayed the bike by itself for a very long time, but i caved in lately. On the other end, she is a tad too small. Sadly I bought her from a member here many years ago, and she is extremely flimsy, falling apart right out of the box. Her limbs just fall apart. I need to learn that trick about coating the ball joint with nail polish, is it?
  8. Changed stuff around... Centered the Cosmic fleet base logo. It is a miracle they both fit in the same display. This was a lucky surprise.
  9. Switching things a bit. Miria is going up for sale so the 1S Hikkie took her place. Included Kaneda in there, to keep it away from dust.
  10. I really like this Endor pack... Where can we get these again?
  11. I have been opening many boxes from the last time I moved. I am organizing the biggest sale of my life, and i found this. It is the Comic Fleet SDF-1 and it fits in the acrylic display I got for the Bandai 1/3000 SDF-1. It is a tight fit, but they both fit in it. I got lucky for once! I may revisit it to place the UN Spacy logo dead on the center, but for now, it works for me. Sale will start in a week or so in the Sale section.
  12. They did it for the MHR, yet we don't have it in the DX line. I wonder why.
  13. When I signed up nearly 20 years ago it was already called Shawn & Grahams's. Special thanks to them for years of information, and the creation of many friendships.
  14. Yeah, it is on the , as @Negotiator later said. Ha, it is there, yep. Good thing i have the old one myself, and it is well weathered, and scarred according to the on-screen version. Ha, we will see if i can order it. I still have to give you some money.
  15. Yeah, and they make you buy an Ewok as part of it all... An ewok played by none other R2 himself Kenny Baker. Where do we pre order this? Hondo! That's really cool, but i wonder how many will try to 3D print a round dish to replace the rectangular one.
  16. I like that Han. Leia and Luke look alright too.
  17. Wow, that is fantastic. I've never sen a 1/55 Q-Rau. Well done @sh9000!
  18. Thanks @twich! I do like high contrast photography! I did use a white piece of paper off camera to reflect light to the underbelly of the 1S. Otherwise a lot of detail would be lost. This is a temporary place holder for the 1S, but I do love how it looks. I should have two 1/60 valks there instead. Yes, it is a nearly 20 year old 1/60 PG Wing Zero Custom. I recall one of the legs did slide off from the hip peg, but i slid it back in with no problems. The left outer "triceps" cover pops off easily. One of the big wings do slide easily if you try to do try to pose them. I only rarely pose my Gundams, so this thing has been posed like 3 times in 19 years. The hands are original, and they do look too slim, but I managed to pose in a way that looks as natural as possible. All in all, I didn't really finish it, and/or sanded the places where i clipped the parts. I may do a wash on it eventually. I do love it, but I think it could have been better than it is. This is my only PG, as it's flaws prevented me to venture in other PG versions. I am sure they have improved over the years. The other PG Gundam I would try is a newer RX-78 or RX-79 from the 8thMS series. Sorry for hijacking the thread gents!
