My impression from some of those pictures is that this thing is cheap looking, but expensive...that's even worse. I'd love an SDF1, but for that price...no way... considering what it looks like... I'll be content waiting for the OA+Ghost set. VFTF1

I use BBTS for all my Transformers needs, and agree about the outstanding customer service... HLJ used to have lousy customer service- no contact. no one to talk to you... but now they seem to have become more realiable because I actually got one of them to email me back about a question I had ... so obviously competition helps ... I hope that if I run into problems, HLJ will be helpful, because I would rather buy Macross toys from HLJ than BBTS, since it's cheaper for me. VFTF1

When will HLJ have the VFOA+GHOST set up for pre-order? I'll place a BBTS pre-order "just in case"... but HLJ would do well to put this one up on their site... VFTF1 ps ... that's the most beautiful Valk I've ever seen...I really appreciate the realistic grey colors and agree with the no acrobatic/power rangers sentiment... if something costs this much, it shouldn't look "childish"... that's why I like my ELINT seeker so much.... this thing is great!

Thanks... I have other pictures too...most of them from my long running Transformers Photo Comics... attachments below have text, and the text is in Polish since it's done for a Polish TF fan site... but there are Valks there as you see ! The last picture is obviously NOT a Valk, but rather just a Transformers scene - but I added it so people wouldn't say things like "you should try using photoshop"... I now do use photoshop to enhance my comics, but I used to just use Microsoft Paint and lots of sticks and strings to get effects ... and the Valks were featured in the old "stick and string" comics... As for the mud - rest assured they don't just lie around in the dirt all day. It's very difficult, but I delicately fill a basket with all the figures for a particular scene, and take them out of the basket to photograph as the particular scene dictates, then put them back in and wash/clean them at home. So while this looks "dirty," it's not - you just have to be mindful of the toy and it won't be damaged... As for stickers - I refuse to put stickers on toys that cost me 100 to 200 USD... the very idea just doesn't seem right to me... heck, I don't even put stickers on my Takara/Hasbro G1 reissues most of the time... I don't want to deal with sticker wear down the line. Glad you enjoyed the pics - hope people like these as well! VFTF1

Hobby Link Japan have charged my card and are processing/packaging/whatevering my order... So hopefully, since I'm using EMS, I should have mine in a week or so. Unless customs gets to it...then look for pictures and happiness ...sometime next year! VFTF1

I would love to get the OA... but after the YF21, I've preorder the SDF1 from wave... hopefully I'll be able to repair my credit card and also sneak in an OA... especially since beyond Classics Ramjet, there are NO TFs on the horizon that I am interested in getting for the very very very long future (aka till the movie!) Ho hum... just thought I'd throw my VF-11B pic up... obviously NOT the upcoming 1/60 ... this is the old one... and mine is "special" because its' leg fell off as soon as I took it out of the box (managed to repair the leg using very...err...barbaric yet effective methods) ... here she is VFTF1 (who apparently likes taking pictures and throwing them up on the forum!...)

Here is a picture of my 1/100s "in action." I produce a photo-comic for my local TF community and have recently introduced Macross elements... this picture is a cadre of an upcoming episode wherein a commando unit of VF fighters is sent into limbo to recover their lost comrades who were stuck there when Galvatron rekindled the Time Wars and traveled to the present...err...um...forget it .... the point is here are the 1/100s getting their butts kicked by Warwithin Prime! On that note - I like these toys, but the stands are pathetic and do not hold the weight of the toy! VFTF1

Hi everybody! This is my first post. I'm generally a Transformers collector, but used to play the Robotech Role Playing games as a kid and had fond memories of the Macross: Do You Remember Love movie... Anyways... I got into collecting Macross/Robotech toys only last year, and my collection is no where as big as some peoples... But I do have the YF-19 preordered at HLJ... and was wondering when in December it would come out...well... I guess now I know 2 days huh? Does that mean HLJ is about to rape my credit card? Anyways, first post ... So far my favorite Valk is either my VE-1 or my Masterpiece Shadow Alpha... Am looking forward to the YF-19, since I have the YF-21 and the VF-11B....... and hello to everyone! VFTF1
