  1. Nice to see all the Pinoys coming out of the woodwork! I'm sending you what I have so far on the Launch Bay, I hope it helps! Will look through the rest of my stuff and send you anything else I find. Cheers! LaunchBay.zip
  2. QUOTE (Cent @ Apr 7 2009, 05:13 PM) * Everything on these boards are too expensive for me. Well, you can just get the free valkyries from here: http://www006.upp.so-net.ne.jp/zen/P_Craft...S_Download.html http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~sf-papercraft/...F-1S/VF-1S.html http://www.ne.jp/asahi/home/tori/ http://urashiman.kilu.de/site/gb-paper.html The last page will someday have a VF-25, VF-17, and VF-14, according to the author: http://sd-sascha.blogspot.com/ SDF-1, destroids, and others in development can be available from Zealot forums (membership required): http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=164968 http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161015 http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=161904 http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156100 http://www.zealot.com/forum/downloads.php?do=cat&id=49 Apologies for being slightly OT.
  3. i think i read somewhere that Fewture decided to discontinue the Mazinger 1901 line due to poor sales
  4. that live action project looks rather interesting...and it seems that the T28 they are using will be either the grey or the brown variant, judging from the props...i have the brown variant by Marmit, its nearly pure metal, and fits in with the SOCs. i like it, though there are no gimmicks or anything. gigantor would be my oldest memory of giant super robots, in the era of black and white TV. i remember that the old shows my brother and i watched often (we must've been around 4 and 5 years old then) were gigantor, marine boy, stingray (gerry anderson's), shintaro the samurai (live-action), and this show about a ninja team with army helmets covered in netting and able to burrow under the ground. these are really vague scraps of memory here! saw the SG T28's too in singapore, but they were selling them in sets of threes (blue, brown, grey) so i couldn't afford them.
  5. yes, they're taller because the shoulders are thicker. you can find comparison pictures in that thread i indicated. the number of accessories seems pretty much the same, but there are less parts to assemble. the scrander for GX-01R comes already assembled in the box, unlike GX-01 where you have to put it together. the scrander for GX-01R is leaner and more streamlined that the GX-02, which kinda looks clunky (but the wings retract). instead of retract partially (only about halfway on the orig), you replace it with a kind of backpack version...looks like how it does in the mazinkaiser series. also, the great booster for the GX-02R has its wings swept forward, while the GX-01 has it swept back. thighs for both the R versions are in chrome, so they do look better than the originals' thighs which were in flat silver paint.
  6. check out this thread from the Robot Japan forums, there's a thread there which discussed the same question: http://robotjapan.proboards12.com/index.cg...&num=1058855506 BTW, i have them both, as well as the first issues...they're pretty cool. if i had to choose, i'd buy the R versions
  7. you haven't seen episodes 5-7? as far as i am concerned, the entire series rocks!
