    I think you missed a detail in this topic, those journalists in the second trailer are famous journalists in Argentina. This trailer is promoted by a channel owned by the main media group in Argentina, through his website and tv channel . One of the reporters is in charge of science news (he has a segment called TN science) and the other reporter is in charge of internet news and they talked about the fan project in the TV news

    if you knew which were the real reasons of Harmony Gold's last decisitions concerning... things.. I told certain things I know (no rumours, facts) to friends and not even they believed me! Besides, what makes hard to prove all these things is many of them happen either through instant messengers or live. None of them can be presented as evidence

    I can back up what I said earlier, at the price of rising hell. You have no idea how deep all this goes But hey! I made you talk a little bit. Well, there are other fans like you here, who knows much more info. Perhaps they want to say something too. Just for you to have an idea. There are at the very least a dozen of fan groups in all these last years who are sources with a lot of details. Follow any website, fan, etc. who got an exclusive interview with a Robotech personality and there you have a fan who knows about all this. Hey, I've already said a lot, it's someone else's turn now! BTW Setokaiba, I can tell you something to you in private. But dont quote me on that. Email?

    if I say what i know, it will be evident where my information comes from, and it would be a hell of a mess. Though Im quite tempted to do so Let me see, what else can I tell without exposing too much the sources. The parts directly involved in the development (if the word applies) of Robotech (from now and before) leak information to different groups of fans to get support from them. Again, some users here knows this is true but almost everybody covers their sources because they think it's worth something (exclusive information mainly, that's used to gather fans, but there are even more "material" things than that)

    There are a lot of sources and a lot of details. If you are interested enough, you'll find it yourself. I'm not particulary interested in revealing my sources, but I know other fans here knows this is true. Perhaps they are interested to tell more about this besides me? If you want some hint to start looking, just start to wonder how some websites gets so easy access to exclusive information and contacts so suddenly. Those "great Robotech fan websites" they show as the example to follow

    Do you want to hear something funny? Memo isnt a fan who kisses Tommy Yune's ass, Memo works for Tommy Yune. He is paid to act as a link between fans and what Tommy Yune wants. He presents himself as a fan in public, but in private to those websites and fans who supports Tommy Yune, he presents himself as an employee of Harmony Gold. Setokaiba, I thought he presented to you like that, I owe you an apologize. The Robotech franchise is a mess. There are at leat 5 groups of former/current employees from the 80s/90s/2000s who fights for their own place. They show an image in public, and they show and do other things from behind. The funny thing is, they have to trust each other at the same time they are fighting each other from behind, trying to get the support of fans and robotech personalities for their own group. It would be amazing if a franchise could run like that

    Because Harmony Gold supporters and detractors have friends in Harmony Gold, a lot of fans know that . And if you are so casual about this Setokaiba, deny what I say and I'll shout you the name of the person of Harmony Gold where your version comes from. He's the one who said they were in "unfair negociations with Harmony Gold" right? How does he know that?

    Setokaiba, it sounds to me like if you were told by someone from Harmony Gold about what to say. It's impossible you to say what you say unless you've been told to tell this from someone from Harmony Gold, because if there was a negociation , you only could bring here the version given by someone from Harmony Gold , sure UEGrs didnt tell you that. (A negociation after or before the cease and desist letter? in which terms, cancel the project or give me your fan work for free?) Where did you get the basis for what you say? Do you have any proof of it? I've been following this project since I found about it and they always emphasized the non profit nature of the project. Now, you can create many conjectures about this, but the only fact here, unless instead of spreading rumours you show some online evidence for what you say, it's from now on any fan doing a Robotech fan work is in danger of getting sued by them. So no point in creating any fan work

    Roger, look the topic name, it says "looking for southern cross fans" . If you hate southern cross, open your own topic and stop hijacking this, there is people in this topic who does love southern cross

    Big West had or has merchandising rights over Southern Cross in Japan only. There were some Southern Cross models packaged with the Big West in Japan back when Robotech were making southern cross toys

    yes, but they cant do that to tell the Robotech story, unless they follow with Sentinesl which has pretty much Southern Cross material on it

    Even more, with the Macross issues is more likely Southern Cross has more room in the Robotech story than in the original series, perhaps like they did in the Robotech comics, with bioroids onboard the space fortress and stuff like that. Not mentioning Zor in a Robotech movie would be like not mentioning Cybertron in the Transformers live action. It's the same for the Robotech Masters and all that relates to Southern Cross, their vessels, their society, etc.
