  1. Rumors are starting to spread about the Hygogg getting a retail release in November! Hopefully the Kampfer and Gelgoog Jager aren't far behind!
  2. Uhhh..... hmmmm.....I don't.......oh dear...... the stickers are going to be terrible but it's still neat they even want to attempt it.
  3. Huh guess they are giving it another try, hopefully this time they will have more stuff available for purchase and cheaper shipping options.
  4. Looks like it's going to be just a remake so I'm not all that interested, if it was a new story in the same setting of the original movies I'd be in though.
  5. The 50 episodes thing is probably someone just joking with you. I don't love Votoms as much as Jenius and Treatment but it's still a pretty great show once it gets going. Votoms can be easily broken down into four arcs, the first arc is the setup and does run a little slow. You were almost to the second arc where things pick up, the third arc slows things way down to get personal and the final arc is where all hell breaks loose. My recommendation would be to try the Votoms OVA Last Red Shoulder and see if you like that. If you still hate it then Votoms probably just isn't for you, if you do like it then continue the series. After that stick with production order on the OVAs till Shining Heresy and stop there since everything after is kinda bad.
  6. It already looks great for a 1st run prototype and I'm sure any changes you make will make it look even better!
  7. Gotta admit, this is probably the best paint scheme I've ever seen on the XFA-27. I'm in for a regular AC2 version and a modelers version so I can mess around with getting something close to the picture .
  8. I want to be hype for REmake2 but Capcom just has to be Capcom. So far it sounds like they canned tank controls and the fixed camera angles (I don't think they officially said yes or no yet). I get that most people don't like that stuff anymore but at least include a mode that has it for crazies like me who prefer the old RE. In the recent gameplay demo the Capcom rep said something along the lines of "This isn't a remake, it's a whole new game!" so I guess I wasn't the target audience to begin with. I'll just wait for the PC version to get a mod that can give REmake2 that old feel since Capcom either can't be bothered or is saving it for DLC down the road.
  9. Believe in your own justice! Finally Metal Wolf is coming home where he belongs!
  10. I'm still gonna skip this Optimus, it looks nice but I'm not about to spend $300-$400 when I'm already happy with MP-10. When we see the painted prototype and accessories maybe I will change my mind but probably not. The faux windows don't really bother me but what looks to be an overly complicated transformation does.
  11. I don't think they ever officially deleted it but G Savior is pretty much no longer canon. I'm sure Bandai still holds the rights and still pumps out some of the old model kits from it every now and then but they rarely talk about it. I don't remember G Savior getting a blu ray release either now that I think about it. Another late UC story to get the silent treatment was Gaia Gear which was written by Tomino in the late 80's and takes place around UC 200, that was written out of canon by G Savior so I'm not really sure where that series stands either. Gaia Gear did get a novel and a CD audio drama release in the early 90's but since then its been a dead franchise.
  12. That was pretty neat, the start up sequence with all the parallels to a real jet start up was well thought out. I hope now that they have all the CG models done they can focus more on the animation for the next part.
  13. Looking around it seems the latest news was around a year ago with Ito confirming he is working on something that won't be realized anytime soon. Hopefully we will get a trailer and release date soon, hang in there!
  14. The big wonderfest announcement will be a 1/60 Destroid Monster will a full hanger and ground crew, premium version with lights and tons of tampo for only 60k yen. Ehh maybe not but I can hope they do something crazy beyond what we already know. I wonder what happened to that old Yamato 1/60 prototype....
  15. If they are selling the game in the US they would have to pay to use an exact likeness of the F-18 so they probably went with a close likeness to skirt copyright for now. The developers do have legal fees set up in their kickstarter funding breakdown so they are probably waiting for some money before they call up Boeing. I doubt anyone is going to try and collect on the Flanker likeness, not sure if Saab would try and get some money for the Viggen though....
  16. I think I paid around $45 with shipping and bought it from one of the retailers on Aliexpress. I got the gray version but there's also a baby blue armor version. I'll leave the link to the guys I ordered from but if you type in super vehicle 001 ms evolve you can probably find it for a better deal Aliexpress link. It's a fairly big box for what you get (around the same size as a master grade gundam box) so be careful on shipping charges. The company that made the Metal Slug model also made a Slug Gunner as well if you like that design, I didn't get it since it doesn't transform into tank mode.
  17. So this just popped up on my radar. Project Wingman is already funded on Kickstarter and has a three mission demo if you want to try it out. I played around with it a bit and it seems like a good Ace Combat clone, it even has some of the same cloud effect tech they have been showing off in AC7. My biggest complaint would be that the standard missiles track a little too well but they may be set that way to make the demo more accessible. Kickstarter Link

    Bandai DX VF-31

According to this picture it looks like a bracket that fits over the wing, not a very thick one either. I wouldn't be surprised if Bandai photoshopped them out of the official pictures so everything looked super sleek.
  19. Wow you guys thought this out more than I did, I went with pitch/camber since in my mind that was what changed when the wings moved up and down/in and out on the Sv-51. I think David has it right with variable incidence affecting the AoA, the F-8 Crusader kinda does something similar when landing on a carrier (or used to anyways).
  20. Thanks! Now all we need is someone to release Bonaparte from Dominion Tank Police in a similar scale and I'll be all set on cute death machines
  21. The wings look cool either way, has that Sv-51 feel where they can adjust pitch (or is it camber) based on how much lift is needed for ground effect.
