Hi guys, There's a new Macross fanfic that's up. To be exact, it's a halfway of a fanfic in the way it works. Macross 2054 Quest http://archive.moe/tg/thread/34679424 (latest thread as of this posting) (previous threads: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Macross%202054%20Quest) (Announcement and schedule of live sessions: https://twitter.com/BoredofDirector ) You play as a Pecker, a pilot/engineer who is newly inducted into SMS aboard the Macross Avalon. What's a quest you say? It's a collective freeform RP/CYOA. Take a choose-your-own-adventure book. Then, have one guy flip the pages (That's the guy running a Quest) while all the other players vote on what to do next. Instead of a play-by-post forum RP, it's live story/roleplay sessions on the board itself (much like live RPG sessions over Skype ) It's fun and you have a say in the direction of story. Cheers.

IIRC, doesn't the VF-17 also have reloadable drums?

Honestly, reverting to no-reloading doesn't make sense.

Err, what I mean is being obsessive-compulsive over canon. Like how fans try too hard to explain and fit in inconsistencies and stuff.

Ain't it funny how Western fans like to mince and dice over canon? Like the way they do with Star Wars/Trek, and even Halo(read the wikia entry about Dr. Halsey)?

Is it true that Yamato has a VF-4 in their list? (though if I do tryget the experten VF-4, that's the end of it). Tokyohunter says though that his chance of securing a VF-4 is practically none.

I'm surprised! Although the detailing is rudimentary at best, maybe the scale and transformation is attracting people. Well, there's also certain auction patterns of behavior that drive up prices too. At least we get a perfect transformation VF-4G!

WonFes2010 is bound to have a lot of garage kits, Macross included. I stumbled upon some news on fg-site.net, and I came across Experten's latest news after his VF-17D post. As I said in the 2010 kits..... Some guy named Experten is going to sell a fully transformable 1/100 VF-4G at Wonder Festival 2010.
