No, that's a given, I'm simply saying that those cars are a much better choice, in the performance segment, than the V6 Mustang is. The GT is a good choice, by all reports, but, IMO, the V6, especially with the "Pony Package", amounts to little more than factory rice.

Don't even bother with a V6. Ford is supposed to be matching GM's "Employee Discount" deal, which will put the GT in your range. Alternately, think about a new Civic Si or something similar. The Mustang is huge, and the big engine and two doors, as well as the Mustang reputation, will make insurance huge. Hell, for the price, you could have a recent WRX, or, with some good bargaining, even a new one.

XMODS really left me feeling flat. They just handle like crap, and too slow. I think I'll pick up a Mini-Z at some point.

Well, I think the new series would warrant a thread. However, most of the fanbase here on MW is american, and we, sadly, don't get the new series here.

Honestly, I don't even know where to start with looking up kanji. I wish someone would make a program for Palm OS where you could just draw the kanji onscreen and it'd look it up... I don't even know much kana, I decided to do this as a means of learning them.

I've started romanizing Tokyo Broker (appears to be about a guy in Tokyo with a modified Viper...), but it's very slow going, and the vocabulary is way beyond me. Still, it's a great way to practice my kana... so many kanji, though, and I'm completely lost there...

Hey, I figured you guys might know this. Does anyone know of any translation of the Wangan Midnight manga? Scanslations are not necessary, I have the Japanese manga, but the text is beyond my ability. Additionally, does anyone know if there's the same for "Tokyo Broker" out there?

I personally like the fancy stuff on small guns, and simple on long arms. Reflex sights, foregrips, custom stocks, etc, can all be useful in CQB. For a rifle, though, I leave things mostly stock, the only possible modification being a good optical scope, like an ACOG, if it's needed for the situation.

Wow, beautiful M4! Really makes me wish I wasn't in California.... Is it pretty much done? I would have considered putting a RIS on it, but maybe that's the airsofter in me talking. Still, I do like to have a vert foregrip if I can. Be nice to have a Surefire M900 on there, maybe a PEQ, too.

Well, couldn't we just integrate some of his other roles? I like the idea of him being a Terminator, as well. Maybe use his governator powers, too. And, not that I'm surprised, but I'm glad there'll be no M7 style happy personry. (Although I've gotta admit I find M7 a bit entertaining, just for the novelty, and the music's pretty good)

How are the controls and physics as compared to DC? As in, I kicked ass in DC, will that carry over to BF2?

Damn, gotta get a data cable myself, I guess. I wanted to use Invoke, but trying to access it on the phone's (Sanyo PM8200 on Sprint PCS) web browser wouldn't work.

Mag releases are all ackward on anything I've used, and I can hardly operate the "lever" style releases at all. (as on USP or P99) Overall, as well, I find pistols like Glocks uncomfortable, due to the wideness of the grip. One of the very few "normal" pistols where everything seems right to me is the single stack 1911, so that's probably an option. (Except for the fact that the slide release is unreachable, but I can probably work around that. Do 1911 slides release automatically when a loaded mag is inserted?) Recoil's not a huge deal, I'm in LA, so CCW is a non-option, it'll mostly be a range gun, and something to keep around the house, just in case. I'm not overall small, either, I just have "girl hands", for some reason. I always wanted a Ruger MkI as a plinker, too, I know those are pretty handlable for the small-handed.

Damn it, I really wanted to go, but I just don't think the money's there...

Hey, I like the A2 grip! And I have quite small hands, too. I can barely reach the controls of a USP or a P99, even if I shift hand position, and can hardly operate an M9 or SigPro with my hands in position. Glocks are tolerable, but so wide. And forget Desert Eagles... Anyone got recommendations on that, by the way? It'll be a while until I can buy a handgun, but I'd like something I'm not fumbling with. I was thinking Sig P239?

The thing to realize about the original movies is that, as we know it now, the actors weren't the characters, the characters were the actors. You could find someone to play Han Solo, but that role was Harrison Ford, and a lot of it was ad-libbed by him, too. It'd be a totally different role with another actor.
