I know this may be a dumb answer, but why not dissemble it and weld it? If the metal is mallaeble to snap off, it should be easy enough to attach it by fusing it at a high temperature. I'm too poor to frankly afford something so delicate and elite to collect.

tHe PaInt iS wROng!? Seriously, just mod it yourself. It's a simple enough mod to do on your own. Ever heard of model kits? You get tampo lining and just enough accesories to keep everyone happy, and now your complaining on this minor detail? I'm glad enough I'm going to have enough money for this frakking thing.
