Thanks for the link. I completely forgot about those. Well, technology has advanced a lot in these past 15 years. According to another forum, they were around $3000 at the time. I wonder if people would be willing to pay that amount for better versions.

I've seen the transforming VF-1S at last year's Shanghai Comic, and this awesome VF-1S in gerwalk mode at another convention in Japan. I mentioned human scale, because Macross/Robotech isn't limited to just the mecha. Someone also mentioned they'd like to see a life-size Miriya or Misa. Some of my friends said they wanted a life-sized Minmay. Sadly, unless we had access to the treasury. It'd be impossible to build to a life-size SDF-1, thus "Human-size". More specifically ranging from 5feet to 6feet 5inches. or for folks on the metric system, 150cm to 190cm.
