  1. My apologies if I missed it in this thread, but is there any indication of mold improvements for the ET Iota? It’s a bit more expensive (at least on BBTS) than the others were.
  2. Thanks to a donation from my son, I did a "good enough for me" fix using Finn's blaster from The Force Awakens. Not a perfect match (size or color) but close enough since this spends most of its time in jet or gerwalk mode.
  3. The remaining post is ~2mm wide, I think it's probably best to replace the whole part. I'll borrow some digital calipers and get precise measurements this week. Then I'll upload some pics and measurements. Thanks! (And the screw same out easily without any damage. Whew!)
  4. I posted this in the toy forum, but occurred to me I might have more "luck" over here where the builders are: I've got a couple of Takatoku VF-1A valks with damaged head lasers. Is anyone aware of any 3D printed replacements or other makeshift fixes? I imagine it's possible to make a 3D printed replacement, so I'm hoping maybe someone has done it. I'm also debating a full cannon replacement (unscrewing an 40 year old toy seems precarious) or just a slightly to large in diameter slide over piece? On both about 1/4inch of the cannon is still present. They got damaged when I was younger, the missing portion of the cannon is long gone. Any thoughts are welcome! Thanks!

Yep. There's a picture back about 5-6 posts.

It's not just the head, it's a considerably different paint scheme. L-R: TV VF-1A, TV VF-1J Ever since I first saw Macross SDF in the 80s I've preferred Max's 1A scheme of the two. I've just now begun buying Macross toys thanks to the Hi Metal line, so I'm really hoping they go all out. Seeing as a Kakizaki VF-1A has been pictured, I'd imagine it's more a matter of "when" than "if" we get a TV Max 1A.

It's not that I'm ungrateful for the Max VF-1J, but I really hope Bandai makes a Hi Metal R TV Version Max VF-1A.
  10. I saw the answer to this for strike parts, but I've got FAST packs with my reissue Max VF-1A. My question is: will the 80s GBP armor fit the Bandai or Origin reissues?

My first post right here. Because of the post above, I just learned of the Cosmo Fleet TV SDF. Is there a product similar to this out there for the DYRL SDF?
