  1. They are; anime can be especially hard for me, since I like being photorealistic and I keep trying to correct to that instead of the anime proportions. Also: baking the Sculpey can be a pain as well, given that if parts are too thick, they can crack, burn or separate.
  2. Maybe once BW and HG get their agreements in line, we can see new stuff all around?
  3. I would sculpt the heads from Sculpey; the bodies would be sourced from suitable 1/6 figs currently out there. Outfits would be hand-sewn.
  4. Not sure; I'd have to go hunt for it online. Do you mean the small "deformed" fighters, or the larger one that the 3.5 inch figs can sit in?
  5. Not that I know of...
  6. Is Macross truly on gen 6 yet? Or hovering between "5.5" and 6?
  7. I have no issues whatsoever with Bulkhead's joining the G1 crew, or his G1 design. I think this works quite well; I'd love to see a "1984 toy" version myself, but I may have to design it on my own to see that!
  8. I don't either, especially the F-35. The more complex and electronic they make these fighters, the worse they're gonna age. Given the F-35's very poor developmental record, the myriad ad-hoc fixes and the continual issues it's had (many given it's "multi-use" initial purpose), that one's going to be a veritable nightmare for some time to come.
  9. Those look twice as threatening and three times as dumb as the original Bebop and Rocksteady!
  10. Thanks; I saw a couple at least that I didn't immediately recognize the maker or scale of.
  11. Same; they were just the right size for play!
  12. I saw that there was a VF-1A Kakizaki; not sure if it's the TV or Movie version though, as I only saw the print. Most likely the Movie version now that I think of it.... Okay...I think I'm just gonna depart this thread before I screw things up even more. Thanks for having me folks! *waddles back to sofa and pops in Golion on the bluray*
  13. Exactly why this movie shines so well; I feel in order for Batman to be seen properly, he has to be the narrator and show us his world from his point of view. Also, without the skills he's developed as a detective, the rest just makes him a psychologically-damaged man beating the daylights out of criminals in an armored suit.
  14. lol Fair enough! I like the paint chipping effects you're putting on the metal edges there!
  15. So you already have Kakizaki's VF-1A then?
  16. I figure the only way to fix this is to "reveal" that the Borg Queen that Picard/ Janeway"defeated" only managed a smaller "collective" and that the main collective not only still exists, but is far more terrifying than the tiny branch the Federation has encountered thus far. Borrowing from Macross: what they beat was a branch fleet and not a main fleet. Underline this fact with a Borg cube from the main decimating several worlds in a matter of hours, then more than one fleet sent to stop them, and finally, wipe San Francisco off the map along with Adm. Clancy. Of course, there's no way Paramount/Viacom/CBS/ the fiddle and the spoon/ whatever is going to do anything like that. And to be frank: it would probably come across as hokey and a fake out anyways.
  17. Thanks; much appreciated! I'll check these out and see if any pique my interest/ curiosity.
