  1. As long as it’s not marketed as an official product, I’m ok with emulating games after a time, especially if they’re un available.
  2. I might have to check it out. Reminds me of AI crossed with blade runner and some Terminator for a bit of spice
  3. I saw futureman and had a lot of fun with that one. I didn’t realize he was the guy in hunger games
  4. judging by pictures it looks like the pro modeler for the package just did it as a sub assembly, painted them and then put the wings and everything together. There’s a seam showing at the sides in fron of the wings that I don’t know if it’s ugly or not. But I think they just did a lazy method. I can’t decide if it’s something that would bug me or not. I’ll probably do a test fit to see how it looks and maybe decide after checking out the battroid images to see if it’s a consistent seam there
  5. That 1/144 led mirage is looking really good
  6. That’s a really great display. I really love these little kits
  7. I was just about to say that I’ve already seen a version with Nick Cage. Crazy Nick Cage is best Nick Cage
  8. Even now the company still sounds like they consider it a success. I guess they didn’t expect much out of it to begin with. Maybe there is a future for the franchise in show form rather than movie, or they may just green light a sequel anyway
  9. That’s the 1/72 one right? I preordered the version that comes with decals and just curious about your thoughts on this kit. It looks a lot simpler than the hasegawa, but also appears to be more anime detailed rather than real world detailed like the hasegawa version. It’s looking good so far
  10. Are you a kit collector? Just curious since some of those are a bit specific on box colors. The 1/72 tomahawk is one I’ve only seen pictures of. I’ve built the imai 1/100 one, but that was a Bandai reprint.
  11. I had seen quite a few ska bands in the day, not by choice and the suit thing was pretty common. It was almost like when grunge was big and everyone in the heat of SoCal were trying to look like Seattle folk by wearing long undies under shorts and tee shirts. ska got really big for like one or two years somewhere in the 90’s and most of the girls I dated were into the scene for some reason I kinda get the feeling that the hangers on to the ska thing ended up treating the suit thing as an insult in a similar way the grungies started hating the long indie flannel thing or a lot of Black Metal bands from the old days kinda laugh at bands that still did corpse paint for a while
  12. It’s Disney, so it could always be worse
  13. I remember this band back in high school. They really didn’t last long, the pop ska think was kinda short lived. Lots of dark business suits and horns and then poof
  14. Pretty good week for Ghost. Papa III action figure up for preorder a new song popped up yesterday, a cover of Iron Maiden’s Phantom of the Opera and if I’m not mistaken a covers ep coming out this week
  15. I kinda felt the Dreamcast was a bit ahead of its time in some regards
  16. Thanks for the tips. You would think if it’s a known problem that it would have been taken care of already
  17. Are the diy options hard to install? I’m really not to familiar at all with the switch, but it’s the portability thing that has me interested in getting one. My job has me working with a lot of dead time. I had the issue on a controller for ps4 a while back, but it was just one of three that I had. I would just use the other two.
  18. That’s one that I wasn’t expecting. I’m still waiting for Hanzo or Galford. Also forgetting the name of the creepy guy with the claw
  19. I’d highly suggest Snake Eyes since there really hasn’t been a figure that looked like it came from the og cartoon. Honestly I like the bad guys as well and these look good even if you leave ‘em in the box.
  20. Is this a problem which the current models of the switch? I don’t own one currently and have been thinking about getting a couple since my lady is more interested in Nintendo stuff. Just curious if this is an issue that’s been solved on available models. my daughter has one and she hasn’t mentioned any issues with hers
  21. I watched the first three episodes of this season, but haven’t had time to finish what’s available yet. I just haven’t had much time for tv lately. I’m oddly hooked on Fired on Mars, which is a show that I wasn’t too sure on and the lady of the house has me watching Beef with her. the shows I’m most excited for are the return of Venture Brothers and Futurama. I think bot shows are returning this summer
  22. That’s one of the big details I noticed. I don’t know if it’s the official set up, but I think it’s the only kit that looks that way
  23. Honestly, I feel it in my hands now. Fighting games were some of my favorites growing up, but I feel like I can do one match and then I’m done. As far as action games, I have to pace myself and prep for boss fights. Lately I haven’t really played many games
  24. Yeah same here. They even did some fun markings
  25. I’m pretty sure someone had the Wave 1/72 model and custom built the the top. In the picture they’re a numbered ticket like an entry from a builder, although I can’t read it . I don’t think this a hasegawa add on or anything to do with hasegawa, just a nifty custom build. the only reason I’m guessing that it’s the wave kit is that I just bought all three of their destroid kits for the 40th anniversary rerelease and there’s a lot of similarities I’ve noticed in the details. Like the leg and foot attachments as well as inner details for the missiles. I think imai did the old phalanx in 1/100 but don’t remember that much detail. And I don’t remember there being another one at the time in 1/72
