  1. They are airing, from my understanding, a near complete first episode. As far as when the series will actually premier is still up in the air.
  2. Well it looks like I'll have to purchase them and rip an image so I can overlay some sub files on them. Unfortunately don't know Japanese. Hard to find classes that work with my work schedule.
  3. So my last post doesn't seem to have shown up for some reason. I was wondering where a more appropriate thread for Tech talk is located? /edit Disregard. I found Sketchley's translations. Exactly what I was looking for.
  4. Has there been any mention of English subs for these movies yet? I feel like they won't until Harmony loses its rights because, knowing Harmony, they'd try to sue somehow. One can always hope though right?
  5. Yes! Part 3. It was getting hard waiting to watch the next two episodes. I love reading your notes before watching the episode and looking for all the interesting details you've mentioned.
  6. Also I'm pretty new to Macross World. Where's a more appropriate thread for Tech/Phys talk?
  7. I like the sounds of this one. I've never really explored the science behind Macross. Didn't realize they went to such lengths. In Zero heavy quantum would be new to us and as with all new technology and resources production is very limited to start so not having enough would be very plausible.
  8. Nice! Enjoy yourselves. Hoping they'll have a release schedule ready by then so we can know when the rest is coming.
  9. Speaking of amicable partings. I'm quite displeased with Sony. Here I was hoping Harmony was on the verge of letting go their stranglehold on Macross (failed kickstarter), Sony has went and got the live action movie rights to Robbotech. If they make a successful movie may as well kiss Macross in America good bye for another half century.
  10. Having rewatched the trailer I feel the guys are military not a boy band. The formation flying and the Germanesque dress uniform and the 262 not having any distinguishing features amidst themselves. I think this may touch more on a theme like 7. The extreme personality of idols and the discouragement of personality in the military.
  11. Meltran folds are probably more efficient. Don't need to switch as much super space with real space thus less energy from the system required for folding. Every one wants more efficient drives, especially military because it means more energy for their shiny new guns or the ability to fold with smaller craft that produce less energy. Still not as fun to watch though.
  12. This sounds like something you would see in a Macross episode. I remember in FMP Belfangan Clouseau was shown to be an otaku in the anime. I got a kick from that.
