Didn't even realize there was a Roy Strike Valk!!! Thankfully Nippon-Yasan is still taking preorders so I got mine in! I cannot believe how much support Bandai is showing for Macross all of a sudden. Yes obviously any of this can be dropped if sales slip but the fact that within about a year or two we could finally have all of the destroids, a Vf-2SS, the Flashback Vf-4G, and a Britai Figuarts is almost mindblowing!!! This is the kind of stuff that fans dream of and almost never happens unless you want 27 Hatsune Miku nendoroids.

"Pre-order Madness" isn't because of a dozen or so MW member buying duplicates because they actually want them, and it is nonsense to think that is the case. I bought 9. Yes, NINE of them. And I'm not going to apologize! Between Amiami, Hobby Search, Amazon Japan, and CDJapan these were available for about an hour....compare that to the previous DX Chogokin window of ~45 seconds. Plus HLJ and a couple others haven't even listed them yet. Demand was almost nothing compared to what it could have been. I bought nine because I want to make a massive SDF Macross display when the line is complete. There was ample opportunity for them to be obtained last night and even still via AMJ and HLJ's pending preorders.

You could select IP Money Order and email them later to request it changed; but they get very pissy and unhelpful about that. Otherwise yes, though I almost prefer this with these kind of releases because you don't tend to get a "whoops we over sold" email later.

Cool. I have their 1/3000(?) Scale version from a few years back but I would grab this also for poops and giggles.

Anyone who wants a White unit just needs to wait for the CUH-1200 revision to hit stores in a couple months. It's already available in Japan also. Less power consumption and quieter fan, also a matte finish on HDD cover instead of gloss. Plenty of info here. HLJ, Amiami, and CDJapan all had them available. I grabbed one, my first Bandai Chogokin Valk! I'm a little worried about the QC issues I've seen people complain about, especially the broken parts, cracks, and scratching all over the valk. Hopefully these things have gotten better or this may be my only chogokin valk, lol.

Curious if HLJ had a bunch of cancellations? If the 11.20 cut-off date was accurate, and since the BF sale excluded preorders, there wouldn't have been much reason to do close orders for just a few days. Whatever the case I went ahead and locked my preorders in since I'd previously forgotten to do so.

Terrible sale this year. The exclusion of preorder merchandise kills it. Since I tend to almost exclusively preorder stuff this is pointless for me. It WILL make me however cancel anything scheduled for Oct/Nov next year and just gamble on it being in stock on bf rather than keeping the preorder on the chance it sells out before then. Last year I got RAH Evas, the YF-19, and others preordered with a nice discount. This year I am buying a couple extra revoltechs. Total bummer of a sale.

I am gonna call bs on HLJ being presold out. This piece is too expensive and too far off (still at least three months out if it ships on time) to already be sold out. Also the Medicom RAH Evangelion Unit 13 is showing as order stop also. Given that the last three RAH Evas whlie being damed nice are still available on Amazon Japan for half retail there is no way the Unit 13, which retails for almost $400, is also presold out on HLJ. Week after next these two items, along with a few others, will suddenly be up for order again.

Not to sound too elite or anything but I just about don't care how much it costs, I must have one! Unless it's over a grand, then I'll spend at least a good 5 minutes talking myself out of it before I click the buy option anyways.

Very cool news. Just hope Bandai don't have a stranglehold on the license again so we can see some Arcadia stuff too.
