Lacquer thinner does make ABS plastic brittle, but I have used Super Clear can sprays on ABS parts without damaging them.

If you don't have an airbrush or for prefer the convenience of canned sprays I'd like to recommend Mr Super Clear UV Cut. It's very forgiving to use as well. It doesn't frost as easily as the non-UV cut version but either way if it does happen you can simply spray another layer over it to eliminate it.

If I understood correctly, the issue is that Japanese fans who pay to attend such events and obediently obey the signs during events and not take pictures or repost them on other places (it's written on the corner of the pics), are shortchanged because other people don't have to attend to have access to all these 'exclusive' material.

I don't have my VF-19 to compare but the back of the hip joint looks disconcertingly thin. I just hope the (still) ugly ankle joints are fixed and maybe a crotch plate that locks in Battroid. Can't wait for April!

Sorry if this isn't relevant but I just ruined the left leg on mine because I didn't read the manual properly. Does anyone here live in Japan and know if it is possible to get a replacement leg assembly from Bandai? On the other hand, I'm willing to buy it off anyone as well... I've been reading this forum for some time and finally got around to sign up because I was dying to ask this question.
