  1. Man I wish, that's be great for me. If anyone is heading to the NY store, grab me a metallic tiny session exclusive!
  2. Yamato sent out replacement wings on the first release when it was pointed out the navigation lights were wrong.
  3. Ahhhhh, no wonder. Surprised they don't have one in LA.
  4. Oh where was that for sale? I forgot about it
  5. Are you emailing them to inform them of the error or asking them to fix it? If the whole run has the error, there's not much they can do which may be why your being ignored.

    Hi-Metal R

I guess it all depends on how ready for release it was. Since it doesn't look rough, I think it's very optimistic to hope they'll revisit it and make improvements based on what Hasegawa did. Then again, I don't see a lot of joint engineering there so maybe it was just a quick mock-up with more work to be done.
  7. Only one set of wings? • VF-171EX body • 3 pairs of interchangeable hands (L/R) • Gunpod • Pilot figure • Interchangeable antenna (hard) • Wrist armor (L/R) • A set of armored parts • Anti-Vajra MDE particle anti-gravity cannon / 30mm MDE cannon matrix AVPAGC/MEDC30-EX-A • Large anti-ship missile for anti-aircraft carrier Sentinel AVM-11R quadruple • 2 medium-range anti-aircraft missile Befores AAMM-05D • 2 Sentinel FXA-60A high-speed armor-piercing rocket 6-tube pods • 2 short-range high-mobility anti-aircraft missile L.A.I./AAMS-02A triple • Dedicated stand
  8. Posted this: When I was transforming Bogue back to fighter mode I figured out what my problem with that toy was. The sliding forearm must have had some flash so it was only sliding like 90% of the range it was supposed to. I noticed the gaps on the one side were just a tiny bit worse than they were on the other side so... I did what you should never do with these expensive toys, I forced it and it was one of those rare occsasions where that was the right move. Now the forearm moves much more freely and gets all the way to the right position and my guns now both behave properly.
  9. Really cool to see old 2D Mecha brought into the 3D space.
  10. What DX toys have they teased that we haven't received yet? 1) Hikaru DYRL VF-1A 2) Max DYRL VF-1A 3) Roy DRYL VF-1S Any other ones? Have they teased Hayao's TV 1A?

    Hi-Metal R

Bandai is so random... we got VF-1A Max TV and VF-1A Angelbirds in DX before Hi-Metal. How does that make sense??? Then they tease us with these toys that only make sense in Hi-Metal and never deliver! That Q-Rau looks like a finsihed product... it looks like it would be easy to pull the trigger.
  12. I wouldn't panic yet, might just be more reflective of the lighting so the camera is making it look a lot worse.
  13. Looking amazing. What scale are you printing it at?
  14. It seems very unlikely to me that the final product will have opaque canopies.
  15. Not broken from the look of it. It's blue tac, the peg that holds the arms against the back looks to not have sufficient friction to do it's job. Probably just a prototype fit issue, you can see the peg and slot. It's possible the peg is supposed to be longer but broke.
  16. Does it have a waist joint? Kinda looks like it there.
  17. Scales are too wonky for Zentraedi mecha... that was always a shortcoming of the show from a toy perspective. A Q-Rau is like 33% larger than VF-1 and the VF-1 toys were already considered large in their time. Maybe it would have worked as part of the 1/100 line and people could have just ignored that and played with them with their 1/55 VF-1 toys.

    1/55's revisited

I feel like this is one of those puzzles where you're told there are X differences between pictures that look identical and you have to find them all. I see someone must have complained that the toy wasn't made 100% of die cast so they had to add "Die cast / Plastic" at some point.

    1/55's revisited

Ah, there's the answer. Really fun pieces!
