  1. Ok. Assembled one of mine earlier. It's an ok improvement over the Yammie. Especially the new storage-compartment to store stuff. Fwiw, this Arcadia Launch-Arm does not include the previous baggy of various adapters that came with the original Yamato Launch-Arms. Some pics. Didn't have any of my Strikes available, so I grab my Hikkie-1J instead: Oh, this is the only adapter that came with this Launch-Arm, and it seems to be specific for use with the Arcadia VF-Zero's humongous valk-mode adapter:
  2. Wonder how much it'll be this time. Assuming it'll have actual anime-correct colors this time, of course. At any rate, finally got my launch-arms from DHL. Reckon Genie helped...
  3. Well, yes to both, and more. Let's put this way: ActicGears: -- toys -- you can abuse it. -- tiny/small -- no clicks. -- no springs on ballistic-punch effect -- pilots are not articulated (most are not even painted) -- cockpits are not detailed. -- relatively alot lot cheaper than the DMZs. DMZs: -- collectible. -- have delicate parts that may easily break (tummy handle on the DMZ-01, especially) -- nice paint and weathering details. -- detailed cockpit -- spring-loaded ballistic punch -- lots of clicks -- articulated Micro-Man pilots/figures. -- can be quite expensive. That said, DMZ-01 has alot of issues regarding fit and quality stuff since it was the first iteration. It can be a pain to handle. It does really live up to the junkyard-dog feature from the tv-show, fwiw. Subsequent DMZs (starting with dmz-02) are all comparatively better in fit and quality stuff, and more enjoyable to handle than dmz-01. Fwiw, I think the DMZ-01 is fine as it is despite the issues, but I personally wouldn't get a DMZ-01 for more than 8000y. I think Jenius has an old written review for the DMZ line: http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=5915 However, I'm not sure if he has an actual yt-review for the various DMZ 'dogs, but he does have the DMZ Red Shoulder Custom Parts yt-video. Those RSC missile-parts require lots of Future polish to keep in place, btw. Browse YT for other video-reviews to have a better gauge on 'em.
  4. LRS is still the best OVA entry, and actually still better than the TV show, imo. None of the later "invincibility" or other shenanigans that they later infused with the other OVAs...
  5. welp! Couldn't resist the 10k-yen pricing at sahra, so finally got me Fyana's DMZ-Spacedog...
  6. I'm not really sure how you define "reasonable prices", but I don't quite recall EE ever having "reasonable prices" even without the current scalperpo-rush. Maybe they get their inventory up a bit longer than the usual import-shops and/or maybe their pricing is reasonable only compared to, say, bbts or something...
  7. dhl failed me today...
  8. Yeah. Like how it currently is now with MB Gundams and MB EVAs. Oh, wait...
  9. Could you guys move that rtech crap out of this thread and put in that other thread? Don't need to proliferate that crap in here or in any other MWF threads. Thanks in advance.
  10. honestly, guys. need to stop giving _ANY_ attention to this and whatever crap they spew out. they're pretty much just trolling everybody (again) just to get some unpaid publicity for them so they can hoodwink some "investors" into providing money for their "projects". the only time to give this thing any attention is when their trademarks expired. until then, ignore any and all their regular PR shenanigans...
  11. if not already, you should get your dhl-thingy soon like mine below, too...
  12. This just means they can continue making and publishing those, uhmm, Robotech comics by titan comics or something. The art on those comics are definitively, uhh, "really special", ya know...
  13. Yeah. I just saw the Amz-jp charge on my cc today, so I'm expecting delivery by this Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Sucks that the exchange-rate is sucky this time than the time I po'ed these back then. Also po'ed four, but might even want more now...
  14. Maybe Bandai just totally forgot that they were actually marketing the wing-flaps feature on their DX VF-1...
  15. You never know. Maybe they'll number 'em 1-1500, include some kind of "certificate of authenticity" thingy, and make the box like a book or something with some Hikaru drawing by somebody else other than Mikimoto. Oh, and add a ladder, too...
  16. In DYRL, Max 1A has the Super-FP on since they were in space, but his Max-1S did not have it on since they were on earth. There was a goofy-looking "Strike Max VF-1S" having the FPs on in M7, tho...
  17. Maybe it's flippable/reversable the same way Hikky's Super-1A later glamour shots in the movie had the prominent red skull emblem...
  18. can't find the old gray reveal/model pics during some tamashii-event stuff but... is/are the micropods solid piece or does it have the removable cover gimmick to show the micromissiles? where there micromissiles shown at all on that tamashii-event thingy? The leg-pack has removable covers, right?
  19. Anybody here getting a VF-31A vibe with that? Hope they can fulfill with the Strike-Hikaru. lol! Are they charging up front with these? The exchange-rate is currently really lousy to be paying imports these days. Anyway, with N-Y somehow being able to get more units to scalp offer, I like to be optimistic and say Hikky-1S stocks will be aplenty by release-date time.
  20. Not with the Yammies, but Bandai started this same shenanigan with the Frontier DX-v2 valks. So it wasn't as unexpected. Just continually disappointing since more of us prefer the VF-1 than the Frontier/Delta valks.
  21. Iirc, the 1/60v2 (around 9000y) were cheaper than their 1/48 (around 14,800y) during introduction. At any rate, one can speculate that Bandai just doesn't want the DX VF-1 to be like their DX SV-262 in terms of (non?)sales, hence their limits on shops' stocks.
  22. Yup. It's a generic Amz-JP reply when they can't explain why certain items (macross, non-macross, gundam, etc) they sell somehow suddenly cannot be shipped to the US.
  23. The only way to stop scalpers is to not buy from them. Scalpers will scalp as long as there are people that continue to be willing to pay scalper-pricing.
  24. I reckon if people are still interested in this or the Max-1A, they oughta just wait until release-day to get one at MSRP. Try not to reward the scalpers by preordering at their ludicrous scalped pricing now or even after release-date. Just let them suffer inventory-glut, I say.
