    well, fwiw, I bought the red IronHide mechtech for $10 during some amzn sale last year. he's actually not that bad by himself. his mechtech weapon was ridiculous, tho. as for the cancellation of the FEs, i'm speculating that Hasbro actually did a good job on it that it was Takara that told them to STOP, DESU! so Takara can sell 'em at japanese-pricing. who knows...

    err, M-Plus showed the techs tweaking the effects of Sharon on the brain during pre-concert, and the constant monitoring of it during the concert. Even detected Yang's hack on it. Sharon just overloaded those limiters when she went rogue. Not to mention the subplot of Plus was the BDI of the yf-21. So, it was not quite as far-fetched as compared to the bizarro magic of M7's spiritia.

    I believe I saw HKCollectibles selling her up until last november or so at around US$30-$35 sale, with $26+ reg-air shipping. It's OOS now, tho. You gonna have to scour ebay or MW's For-Sale forum for her, i reckon.

    oh. i don't have the CF, so i wasn't really aware of it. the no-paint 1A-kit also sport the tv-head. maybe they'll release a proper DYRL-CF complete with the FPs and the green arrow-markings during DYRL-anniversary?

    Yeah. Looks like factory-defect to me. You'll need to return them to that shop. Send them an email right away, with the pics. On their website, they state: not sure who's gonna eat the shipping-cost for the return, tho.

    well, since it's non-yamato and considering this "thing" went for $2600 (201,000 yen) at auction-end, may be it'll be an ultra-exclusive Mylene hugging-pillow complete with her verified-used fire-bomber leotards. oy, vey... way to delay the 17D...

    I'll take your word for it since I don't import anymore. At any rate, other than being region-free and the LE-schwag, what else do you guys think make this BD worth your import?

    I'm gonna have to agree with the Sith Lord here. It's nice of them to give us extras like the pachinko game footage, but will Blu-Ray really make this 30-year old cartoon look any better? They'll be upscaling video. The sound is still mono. And as EXO said, I don't know if I wanna see some of those scenes in HD. I will have to agree with him as well. The only advantage of this BD is that at the very least, you won't need to a region-hacked player for it since the US and Japan are in the same BD-region. I'm not quite sure AmJ's listing of "all-region" is that accurate, yet.

    uhhh, not really. Gundam may be look better, but I think that's more of Bandai always having better (or rather, properly maintained) masters of it than they ever have of their Macross.
