  1. They are models made of thin styrene plastic, they aren't sturdy toys. 360654[/snapback] I have a ton of gundam models so I am familliar with the blastic that Bandai uses for kits. So far no I've suffered no breakages even after my MG Gundam Speigel shelf dove last year. How are they ugly? That is what has me intrigued.
  2. Yeah they are the snap fit kits. As for fragility, How so? Cheap plastic?
  3. I was looking at some images online and these look pretty sweet. So does anybody recommend these?
  4. Dang! Those figures do suck. The Sculpts are good but the designs stink!
  5. I've got some of their Guyver "Bio Fighter" figures and those are tip toppest higghest of the high end of quality. I too hope they get it right.
  6. Yeah I think they are the same but made of hard plastic. The hopper holds the entire bag of shot and by God does throw them out at velocity. I'm talking like across the room with all three weapons. There is no way in hell that this thing would have passed safety laws in the us unless the age on the box was like 10 and up. RE: The Gobots fate. I agree that Tonka had blown it by the time this toy was released (1987) and Hasbro/Marvel really knew what they were doing right out of the gate with Transformers. Also when this toy came out I was like 13, which meant it would not have aged nearly as well as the one I have now.
  7. "I've got something to say! It's better to burn out, than fade away!" Oh and I too am getting all sweaty in anticipation for the Garland. Either, both, it don't matter which, I just want one finally. Even though in my experience Max Factory has MUCH better QC.
  8. Some photos of a less pristine BH-05 in it's various modes: I have some more pics if you folks like.
  9. A few days ago I got a "virgin" MIB BH-05 "Arjetan" in from a seller in Japan. All I have to say is "DAYUM!" It's a shame that Bandai didn't helm the migration of their "Machine Robo" (Gobots) line here in the states because this toy and his sidekick Machblaster (BH-02) kick major henkei tail. I'll let the pics do the talking for me on this one: The item I received: The Weapon System with ammo: R. Jetter with Machblaster in gun mode: This thing is a piece of transformable art. It has three different shooting weapons (That are battery powered and not at all pet or eye friendly...) and a remarkably well engineered transformation scheme especially in the legs. And last but hardly least it stands as tall as a Yammie VF-1 1/48. So not only is well designed it is also freaking huge. Next time I will post some pics of Machblaster. Till next time...
  10. Robocop's face area is for public interaction. The "Skin" is plastic and his "Crucial orgaincs" are protected within his armored skull and torso housings. A shot to the mouth would really just make him uglier and piss him off. A lot.
  11. EXO, do you know which thread had those images in in?
  12. Anybody here at Macross world remember seeing/posting some images from a computer graphics magazine of transforming jet. The jet was gray and had very stiltish legs, it also had some serious "real robot" design elements to it. I've been searching and low and I'm just not making any progress here. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. Holy crap I just saw the list and realized I'm not on it. Please put me down for one of these kits. Thanks.
