what's the point of having 2 "about me" sections!?? anyway as i wrote before i am a huge macross fan but not much into other anime. i've seen a lot of gundam series as well as SF series that are supposed to be considered good like eva and legend of galactic heroes but i honestly wasn't impressed. i do like studio ghibli anime like nausicaa and spirited away. i love the macross series with a passion, but i wasn't a big fan of mac 7 or mac 0. i just wasn't too impressed with the storyline, although 7 had it's charms and 0 had great valks. i love macross frontier. it's everything that i ever liked about the original tv series with beautiful animation and new valk designs. watching the latest episode is a highlight of my week. i also am a fan of yamato's valkyrie toy line and i am looking forward to bandai's DX VF-25.

aside from macross, i am into movies, all kinds of sports and break dance/hip hop culture. street culture is really an awesome part of american pop culture, i recommend anyone who doesn't know too much about it to check it out. alto and sheryl sum it up best in episode 5:

alto- "why do kids in the ghetto bother with street poetry, graffiti art, music, and spinning on their heads?"

sheryl- "because they couldn't help but do it."

i'm also into japan and japanese history/culture as well as world history and world politics/race relations. i have close to a native ability to speak the japanese language so if you ever want translation help hit me up. peace.
