You know what that really was right? Straight up jealously. He obviously never had a childhood, hatched from an egg, and was never loved. On top of all that some ginger headed death machine stuck a firecracker in his Jetfire and he's been traumatized ever since.

I have to say that 99% of people who see my various collections of stuff (Macross, cars, bike, planes etc..) mostly make pleasant or encouraging comments about them. Hey its my hobby and its what I do!

There was this one time (only just recently actually) that a mate of my brothers was over and saw my Macross display and immediately referred to them as "transformers s%&t"..

I felt overwhelmingly obligated to inform him that they were indeed NOT transformers or anything of the sort but he stood firm insisting that if they do transform then they are just as he originally referred them as..

Then the argument of how much they cost started up with him telling me im an idiot for spending as much as I do on them.. and.. that I am obviously childish, immature for collecting toys and rubbish in the first place and should grow up and act my age.

I was quite surprised at how verbally aggressive he was about it.. My brother later apologized for his mates behavior and said that he can be extremely narrow minded about a lot of things..

As far as I am concerned he can go f@#$ himself.

I just finished Frontier.

I have to say... It's the best Macross show... even better than SDFM.

Thought I have a special place in my heart for SDFM, I think Frontier is a better story, and more powerful over all.

Really enjoyed it. And all the little nods to SDFM like the valkyrie curse, haha.

I have to agree with you there! I also just finished watching Frontier (late to the party I know I know..) and LOVED it! Yeah was cool all the references they made to SDFM!

On a further note I did like that Mirya still had (and used) her VF-1 in Macross 7! Shame it eventually bit the dust though..

Hmmm.. my top 5 have gotta be in the following order..

1. VF-1J especially the Hikaru paint scheme!

2. VF-1A but with the TV version type head (no goggle)

3. VF-4G in fighter mode though! not so keen on its other modes..

4. VF-19F its huge! and looks bad ass tough in all modes!

5. VF-1D cos of its historical significance & with a head only a mother could love!

You bought this thru ebay??? Ebay offers buyer protection including the original shipping charges.....why would you not take advantage of that protection? Just open a claim and provide ebay with the pics (even better if you kept the box used for shipping it to you)......and then just let ebay mediate the process.....no reason to just "accept" things as they are......ebay will ask if you want full refund, partial or some other resolution....up to you though.....

yeah pretty much so I guess im just not going to bother with it. At least the VF itself is undamaged.

I recently purchased a VF-19F Emerald Force from ebay seller h_ray. The item was fairly reasonably priced and did arrive quite fast, about 1 week from purchase.

The thing is that it was extremely poorly packed offering little to no protection and the box suffered heavy damage in transit. This shits me off quite a bit as I always like to keep the original boxes and most of the time put them also on display.

Also one of the gap fillers for the legs is damaged obviously from prior use and all the protective tape had already been removed and the users manual/instruction booklet had been opened out of its bag.

The listing had specified that this item was a brand new sealed item. Clearly this was not the case.

I sent the seller an email explaining the situation and apart from them taking their sweet arse time replying to me all they had to say was that they apologize for any inconvenience and offered me a 5% discount on any future purchase.

So pretty much they couldn't care less which I found frustrating and their offer insulting. This surprised me as they have quite a lot of transactions with high percentage of positive feedback.

hehe! overrated if you gotta sell off bits from a Macross collection to afford to fix it.. But if you can fix it without resorting to extremes (as previously mentioned) then yeah A/C is the bollocks!

Gahh I'm gonna be totally screwed if or when they release a v3 of the 1/60 range as I'd probably end up re-mortgage or sell my house to pay for them all! Then what to do with all my older v2's which I might not like or want anymore..

Hopefully they won't do that anytime soon as there isn't much wrong with the current v2's in my opinion..

They fix the removal of the paint issue yet with this stands?

I think I read something about this somewhere but can't be certain.. something to do with the tips on the rod ends?

Got my shipping / tracking information email from USPS today. Still no word directly from FlightPose themselves which is kinda irritating.. oh well at least its good to know that the stand is finally on its way!

i pre-ordered 3 sets of the 3 packs and im still waiting for my shipping confirmation. I sent them multiple emails and messages on their fb page and got 1 generic response. this is the first and last time I'm ever going to order from them.

yep cant help but feel the same way.. I was gonna order a few other different sizes.. scratch that idea.

I sent another email today.. too bad if he gets the Shits with all my emails but I want to know where my item is.. It cant be that hard to send an email with a tracking number surely..

Yeah I did notice they are no longer on pre-order status but I still haven't seen a shipping notification or tracking number.. I did email them again last week and once again no response..

I sent them about half dozen emails before getting a response of which they said they'd be shipping mid to late June but im guessing that still hasn't happened as yet..

disregard this post.. I found me a VF-1S Roy Focker but a DYRL version.. was on ebay for a fairly decent price so I thought what the heck and bought it! =)
