If you're going to keep it in fighter, just get a V1. Same deal and less of a hassle.

How does it look odd? To me it's slightly wider than expected, but if it's any thinner we'd be complaining it's a Yammie with snapping joints.

Found some pencil lines across the wing decals of one of the jets. Bad QC but nothing killer. Also noticed the light scratch marks across the plastic on all three of the 171s. Makes me think the factory workers are so sick of assmbling the things they just toss the parts around. Wouldn't blame them, but I expect a little better from Bandai. And also shouldn't be expected of a $200 plus toy; this isn't a deluxe transformer.

Still a sweet ass plane tho. Somehow the curves look okay. One day Bandai will remove the curves and put them somewhere else. They just need to keep making rookie mistakes.

Nice to know! Thanks for the heads up. As I said, I've been reading up on the threads for a few years and it seems like a close-knit community. The problem with collecting is the sheer amount of scalping going on. Same with my transformers. It's a crying shame people can't let those who want the goods just buy em. As far as I know, transformers scalping has died down a little, thankfully.
