  1. really? i've got to try. it seems rather difficult to click the thruster feet back one more time. i tried but it wouldn't really stay in place. and the balance seemed a bit off in that position.
  2. is this very suggestive? i was just trying to compare the accuracy of the Toynami Gerwalk mode to that of the Yamato 1/48...
  3. i believe all their fighters are capable of duking their guts out in space. how else could these fighters be approved for use by the UN Spacy if they were merely atmospheric fighters? and yes, Guld was injured many times over due to his body sustaining the incredible G's necessary to avoid the Ghost's attacks. in the part where he popped his eye though, it is rather unclear if he was flying in a straight line (with a GREAT deal of acceleration since he removed the limiters) or if he was constantly bouncing around to avoid any counterattack. judging from the way his eye popped (backwards into his skull), i believe it was the former.
  4. good eye BoBe yeah, it's my VERY vintage Takatoku Hikaru 1J with a broken head laser too! SDK7.0, it depends on whether those hands are very noticeable from the angles you're taking the shots from. i suppose if you use just the fists instead of the open/trigger hands, they would fit fine.
  5. haha, that's very cute. here's my lousily taken shot: Hikaru running from the aces.
  6. IMO, the fight might have gone more badly for Guld it it were in space, due to the lack of earth's gravity, the X-9 might be more agile,. it was already straining Guld to the max in order to keep the Ghost in his reticule. imagine if the X-9 was much faster in space, without the inhibitions of gravity. and if they tried to fight in Battroid or Gerwalk mode in the jungle and and / or mountainous terrain, the X-9 might simply wait it out or blast the terrain into oblivion. i can't imagine either pilot withstanding the bombardment long enough to snipe the X-9 out of the skies. only in a very enclosed area (closed cargo bay or interior of a ship) would the Battroid or Gerwalk mode be useful. then again, i'm making uninformed comments. feel free to correct me.
  7. be sure to make it available to us other original SW fans. anyway, i'll be ordering this version from dvdsoon.com with a bunch of other fans. hopefully, it's worth it.
  8. out of curiosity (and laziness to scroll through the previous 5 pages), why didn't Lucas consider making available the option of the originals on this DVD trilogy release? is it difficult to program the menu and the playback sequence to cut the SE scenes and provide the original audio for those altered audio scenes? sorry, i'm a n00b ^.^
  9. and then what? try to sell the 1/100 when a 1/60 comes out? it'll be the 1/60 vs 1/48 thingy all over again. maybe i should wait for people to do that, maybe market price would drop then, hahahaha
  10. too bad you didn't manage to find out how to contact her. i sure as hell wouldn't mind a girlfriend like her (hope my current girlfriend doesn't read this, haha )
  11. now THAT is the most accurate and most beautiful cosplay girl i've ever seen. she totally does justice to Leifang from DOA.
  12. if they did a proper sculpt of the M+ toys with the FULL weapons load that they should have. i sure as hell want to equip the YF-19 with a weapon that can blast a Monster into bits with just one shot.
  13. might i suggest aligning all the gun barrels so that when you take the shot, what we see is that we're staring INTO the guns, just like what Boldoza was seeing before his cranium got bulleted through? hehehe
  14. yeah. i can't say i don't sympathize with their cause. but then who's going to sympathize with my fellow Singapore Macross lovers and me? haha oh well, i get to save the money for something better i hope.
  15. does the lack of updates in this thread indicate a lack of vintage Legioss and Mospeada stock?
  16. my wishlist to Yamato: resculpted Macross Plus valkryies with the FULL weapons load as shown in the show 1/48 GBP armor, Elint, Ostrich, Trainer perfect-variable Macross Zero valkryies (preferably in 1/48 as well or similar in size) SDF-1, either version will do Destroid and Zentraedi mecha
  17. lol, first???!!! then i'm second i hope, lol. i think it's more important for pictures of the cyclone and alpha packaging to be posted up. i definitely need one of each. it'll be very cheap if the price remains at the one that Gunbuster said it is. so when do you think us interested parties can come in and check on whether stock is available?
  18. so for those of us who're interested, do we wait for confirmation of stock, authenticity and price?
  19. let us all pray got the GBP, the Elint and the Ostrich. these i must have, to compensate for my lack of a low-viz, lol.
  20. so now it's in the preorder state? still costs 35 for each and 60 for both?
  21. oh! it's not ready to be ordered? yay! i'm in time! cool!
  22. OMG! am i too late for this??? Crys! Izzy! why no one tell me? plus with 30 pages to scroll through, my eyes are going to hurt more than while reading that ebay scammer scammed article!!! any idea if this can be shipped outside US?
  23. /me whistles and turns his back on Maverick and waves to Renato to borrow his mostly 'pages... words... pictures.... page numbers' Macross dictionary
  24. actually, you kind of deserved that, hahahaha!!!
  25. hi guys. i'm new here but not with regards to Macross. yoroshiku onegaishimasu! please guide me along. congrats on lil Roy, Graham! hope he'll bring you lots of joy instead of agony with regards to the VF-0S, paint scheme looks kinda like Patlabor doesn't it?
