  1. lets not bug Graham too much about the pictures or further details regarding the YF-19. God knows he was to maintain the privilege of holding on to exclusive information =P just kidding but i know he'll give us additional information as soon as he can with Yamato's permission. so let's not expect too much out of him besides officially permitted release of information. besides, the Chara Hobby event's just a couple of days away. we can wait, right? we've waited years for it anyway, what's a couple days more?
  2. isn't the actual product scheduled to be revealed the during the CX3 (or Chara Hobby) event for 19th August in Japan? i recall someone translating it to be so from the picture of the silhouhetted YF-19.
  3. take more! or you're a heretic for not sharing! nice pictures btw love the fighter mode but staying away from this for now
  4. it didn't seem that squat in the anime though. a case of right camera angles perhaps? and does Wolverine have those long sexy legs? hehe!in any case, i've loving the 0A head sculpt WAY more than the 0S one. kind of difficult to decide if i SHOULD get the 0S at all. jeez Dante, i know aaajin's really pushing your lust buttons but you're just sick in letting him manipulate you!
  5. I totally agree with aaajin about the lasers. They're really a turn-off for me as compared to the sleek profile of the 0A's head. I guess the 0S' head sculpt doesn't help in reinforcing the bunny look (don't ask me to explain why). And like aaajin, I'm more of a neutral guy, no specific preference for any mode since I like them all. But I also agree that the VF-0 torso looks rather disproportionate as compared to the rest of the body. The VF-1's look better despite the long 'crotch'. Will probably still get one despite my complaints and reservations since it really is a engineering marvel but will certainly wait for the 2nd production run. cheers
  6. it just makes me ponder, with Graham's bubble bursting, that we could actually speculate about the valks that might be made. and since Graham will feel an obligation to burst bubbles since it wouldn't be good to let our expectations build, then those valks whose threads don't get a response from the G-man may actually turn into reality! *wondering out loud*
  7. IMO, it might work better with just the DYRL? valks. in fact, it suddenly makes me want to get a Hikaru 1S to display with stealth FPs.
  8. thank the heavens the actual prototype looks THIS good already! thanks G-man, awaiting more of your hints about the 19. and awaiting more test shots in other angles and modes too!
  9. Thanks G-man, that's exactly what I want to hear before committing for the 0A as I was worried that the inherent problems of the 1st run 0S wouldn't have be rectified for the 0A run.In fact, I'm still waiting for the 2nd 0S run to start before getting my 1st 0S.
  10. he isn't. at least i'm sure he doesn't collect as much as kensei or godzilla. and the way they do collecting without being retailers is pretty criminal in itself.
  11. no worries G-man. we know you're a busy man. people who don't know that don't deserve any of your attention take your time and hope our personal stuff have been settled properly.
  12. i'd have to agree with Valk-1S mainly because i feel that since this is their 1st attempt at the Zero line, they should duplicate their formula as the did for the VF-1's. it doesn't make sense for them to throw a combo pack straight at us unless they KNOW for certain that their domestic market appreciates such a combo. just my 2 cents.
  13. my goodness, that totally sucks. worse is it doesn't mean as much to compensate you for it because the wait, anticipation and joy of finally receiving that costly Macross 1/48 has been totally stolen from you. >_< my condolences to your 'pancake' and may it RIP while you get a new intact one soon.
  14. izzy, get some stickers/decals on those FPs! btw, great photo, love it.
  15. very nice collection to both Naked and port. love the vintages (looking rather nice and clean) from Naked's. drooling (and worrying) over the Dendrobium from port's.

    Noob Here

pics please!!! and welcome to MW forums. ^.^
  17. takatoys would be so hurt to see you say that. >_<
  18. sigh, no chance now anyway. i'll just wait till the next mass yamato release and head to HK for a 'getaway' again. >_<
  19. hayao, you live in HK too? damn! wished i had time to meet up with Valk009 back when i was in HK. spent too much time accompany friends shopping, ended up not having enough time to source for Macross. where did you find those prices? richmond? i didn't manage to go there again after the 1st time when i went there too late and most shops were closed. does richmond have a higher concentration of macross-selling shops?
  20. well, if you take into account the fast and furious pace of living and working in HK and don't mind it all, go ahead. HK's so vibrant and colourful that one'll feel tired trying to catch up, especially for first-timers going there. i must admit, toys are generally much cheaper there except when demand/popularity comes into play. i got some SW Koto stuff at great bargains too. guess being a neighbor to the world's largest toy producing company helps lower prices a lot. P.S. Izzy, couldn't find the Max Q-rau at all. only see Miria's. >_<
  21. despite my recent trip to HK and visiting the places mentioned in this thread as well as in the Hong Kong thread in the 'Where to Buy' forum, i found no more than 5 shops selling macross valks. prices ranged from extremely attractive (due to recent release and competition) and more expensive than those available in Singapore (due to dwindling stocks and popularity) like the Super Stealth. found the Megazone 23 Garland there but it wasn't appealing enough to me to part with 998HKD (a very reasonable price but the Garland looked very cheap plasticky to me, far wose than the plastic used for the 0S). the LV2 was going for like 750HKD, very cheap, but i had decided early on i wouldn't get it. prices for 0S ranged from 850 (a very banged up box) to 890HKD. super stealth was far worse. i only spotted one and it was going for 1298HKD. strangely enough, i didn't go to the 16/F shop in CTMA because i didn't realize there was one there. guess i wasn't taking notes carefully enough. but i've generally concluded that it won't be easy to look for macross stuff in HK anymore purely because it's not the 'in' thing to collect. more of SOC nowadays. even Gundam stuff wasn't easily found unless you're talking about GFF or MSIAs. heck, i couldn't believe that the UML (Universal Models Limited) flagship store in Mong Kok hardly stocked any new Gundam Seed Destiny model kits. so disappointing.
  22. no need to mess up the hair on each other's head. izzy didn't quite know the market rate for valks in MY. and he was making a subtle dig at UA because the prices posted in their newsletters are for the un-informed regulars.
  23. after seeing the 1S and the 0S side by side, i can't help but feel that the 0S looks rather Patlabor'ish. still prefer the 1S. anyone feels this way too? anyway, will still get one.
