sheesh. yea. so far thats the only one ive found remotely close to that price for any version that wasnt a model. was an ebay bid. from now on ill know to look for some v2's. i was just really wanting a dx since i didnt have one yet.

thanks for all of the replys. this is all good to know. i am assuming this is a v1. when i purchased it i knew it was damaged, i just couldn't pass it up for less than 60$. the legs feel nice and stiff on it, just the arm joints feel a little floppy. it doesnt like to hold the gun straight out. ive mended the cracks at the hinges and added some extra plastic to replace what was taken away. so hopefully i dont have any other issues with it. i dont exactly play with them so i guess thats a good thing haha.

hey all. i just recently got a dx ozma lee (my first dx) that had a couple of cracked /broke hinges. I am wondering if this is a common problem? this was the 2 hinges that allow the nose and legs to fold down to form the torso. i repaired them but am wondering if this is something i should worry about if i decide to buy another dx (new).

old post i know, what did you decide? im fixing to buy one of these kits and was kind of thinking about an alto color scheme.

thanks. i think the wings may need a little more of a point to them for it to look a little more proper, but all in all it turned out well (for me). As well the super parts kit still connects up.However the wings do not stay near as much in the forward position with the wing boosters.i was debating on painting it but i got bored and some how started putting stickers on it.. lol.. my next one i will paint i think. i would like to learn how to wire in some L.E.D.s too but that is an endeavor for later heh.

i have had this kit sitting around waiting on me to have a desk to build it on and finally got around to building it. while i was building it i decided to ,make a change to the wings. it isnt exactly a permanent modification so i can change to the proper configuration if i change my mind about it later. just thought i would share. im sure someone has probably done that before.

Like the topic says. Does anyone know of a VF-17S/D repaint or customized? Im tryin to get some ideas since i have a spare 'S' now. i was wanting to find a 'D' head and maybe put it on there. thanks for any input.
