  1. Of course, a Macross fan needs to actually work at the Airshow!
  2. Hi there RTK. Thats a fantastic scheme. Im zooming in on it, and its insane. And yeah, everything Pengbuzz does is pure Pengbuzz.
  3. So Kawamori isnt even thinking about it. Bummer. He wants to move forward with great works like Delta. George Lucas wants to move forward with great works like Phantom Menace. Well, I would just like to point out that Shakespeare always gave the fans what they want.
  4. Well, we got Frontier after 7. So there is still hope for a well plotted structure with character development and a strong story. That's my minimum requirement for any genre of book, TV or movie. I dont mind if its kiddie or adult oriented, as long as the plot is strong.
  5. Awesome photo Derex. 45 now and I wish I was that kid back then. I would have given ANYTHING for a tansforming valk or SDF-1.
  6. Delta? Teletubbies? Priceless. Here is a video of some things mentioned in the podcast. https://www.facebook.com/groups/MacrossFanCentral/permalink/491875057839926/

Awesome modern valk design. More up my alley that the 31.
  8. Which part of the country was this in? My TRU never had much in the 80s, except for Joke valks.
  9. Love the hype. Cant wait to hear this on my trip today.
  10. Cool. Show us the process. Good to know for others who might need to repair. I assume there is some kind of logic chip inside because it has a led cycle. Did you check it?

I just checked my Nupetiet and the decals do spell "BURITAI". Never knew that!
  12. If you have seen Kye's amazing custom, I used the same HiQ micro decals. Hundreds of them. Its a lot of fun and you cant go wrong.
  13. Yes thats the way to do it. It is a very strong joint and pressure wont hurt it. The risk is to damage other parts of the ship while you put that pressure, so keep that in mind and dont slip. Move fragile antenas and stuff out of the way of your hand motion.
  14. I grew up loving Star Wars in the early 80's. I didnt have every figure, but I had lots of them, and lots of ships. All I wanted basically. These days, I dont have or need any Star Wars figures, no matter how big a fan I am, because it has always been there, as much as I wanted. But Macross was different. I grew up loving Macross even more than Star Wars in some ways. But it was mysterious. There were no toys, at least not in Texas and the East Coast where I grew up. I didnt have access to conventions or a cool neighborhood comic store that brought Arii kits, or 1/55 Valks, or VHS tapes that might have cleared up some of the mystery. We didnt have anything no matter how much I looked. Plus Macross was of mysterious origins and a lot of its provenance was baffling to me. So unlike Star Wars, there is kind of an unsatisfied itch that explains my personal collecting. Its rarity adds to the hobby. Now that we have access to pretty much everything we want, we are gonna catch them all until that itch is scratched.
  15. Well, show us your toys already.
  16. Looks great. I have the Ohmu toy figure, so I dont need to build one. I recommend the Figma God Warrior too!
  17. You need Luke hanging from the belly on a string with his light saber!
