  1. And in Battroid too, but from the back. It´s amazing how they managed to keep the lines flowing in all three modes.... Already preordered, btw
  2. Amazing Valk. I´ve already ordered one, and I can´t wait for it to come... And the paint scheme is amazing, especially from the back. The way the lines flow... even in different modes... it´s amazing.
  3. I think that the "we", besides QC, are kind of "a little problem" by not "reading" any instruction at all. And, even so, I think that they should come in english (or spanish... ), for a lot of "warnings" or little things that should be done, often doesn´t look right in those tiny b/w pictures. The canopy thing is an example. I´m still to receive mine, but reading it seems like it´s too tight. BUT (and thats a big but) there´s a little hole on the back, to lift it using some tool. If that´s what Bandai intended to do, excelent, but if I can´t read any japanese (wich I can´t) and the pic is not clear, how I´m supposed to do it?. Maybe it´s a combination of things... I don´t know for sure. Just hope mine came intact, ´cause here they cost a LOT.
  4. Maybe they´ll make more money selling watermelons than Valkyries ! Or they are planning to add some "frugal" accesories to their doll line... ugghhhh
  5. Except that the VF-17 (wich I have here) has sliding panels to fill the gaps. "Mostly", I admit, but it has them. And even in Battroid, you can extend the legs all but one "click" and use the panel to fill the gap, adding 3/4" to the height... I love it. And the VF-19 (wich I do have here too) does not look that bad from below in Fighter mode... I think it´s all in likings
  6. Ohh, sorry to hear that. If you need some advice "in spanish" contact me via PM !
  7. So very true, my friend.... (1700 final en la puerta de casa... si sirve el dato). The HK Collectibles page has some very interesting figures .... 69.90 for a VF-1 Kakizaki TV-Ver is a steal ! Well, back on topic.... take care with the canopy....
  8. A watermelon, a nice cactus, and some grass from here and there... and there you have it ! A DIY giant planetary killer space fortress... haha
  9. Many Thanks ! I forgot to mention that the canopy could still be opened w/o any problem. It´s fixed, with glue, not completely glued... Y gracias Ignacio . Se complicó conseguirla acá en baires, pero está en la repisa con el resto . La pude conseguir, traida por el proxy que les contaba antes, por menos de 2.000 pesos... nada mal .
  10. Hello again . My VF-17S canopy broke. The same spot that Graham broke in his VF-17D. The plastic hinge that pivots the canopy open. Fortunately I find the little piece on the floor... quite miraculous btw.... So, if that happens, it´s impossible to fix it without removing the seat. Wich is glued to the floor of the pivoting cockpit. And it was because of the same problem as Graham, too. The sliding piece was somewhat stuck (excuse my caveman english), making it almost impossible to open in Fighter mode. At least, now it´s fixed, and a little more glued than before. Hats off to the late Yamato for all the engineering of that Valkyrie. Even with this little inconvenience, I love it so much....
  11. I don´t quite like it.... That´s it... I´ve said it...
  12. No purple canopy? Not buying.... Kawamori-sama, you dissapoint me....
  13. It seems that Kawamori LOVES purple.... Let´s face it, the canopy will be purple, and we´ll buy it anyway
  14. Having Sheryl and Klang in the facebook pic says a lot too....
  15. That´s the color of the canopy on Sayonara no Tsubasa.... So, if they are doing THAT version, they´ll do the superparts, and yes, it should have the SMS markings on the sticker sheet just guessing...
  16. Oh, c´mon... MACROSS 7 IS A MUST ! ! ! We are talking about transforming planes, and intergalactic wars being won by the power of songs ! Macross 7 is the pinnacle of all this beautiful nonsense ! Me too tought about M7 as a pile of crap, and after watching it I really love it. But I love it because its a complete lunacy ! And my childs sing Dynamite explosion about 300000 times a day ! Watch it with a 13 y old mentality, and then go and spend a car´s worth of money in the Valkyries, because they are plain AMAZING...
  17. We´ll see when it cames... I won´t take that as a fact.... yet.
  18. Already sold.... . Excuse me while I´m going to smash my head to the nearest wall.... Well... still waiting for the others.... Oh, my VF-17 came, btw ! What an amazing piece of finger-killing-art !
  19. I´m sorry, but that´s not true. If you´re talking about the "v1" 1/48, I cannot say, but my "v2" 1/48 HI DYRL doesn´t have any problems. Not my SV-51, and neither the VF-19kai and the VF-17.... VF-22s aside, of course, cause that rear landing gear sucks...
  20. Hi ! I´ve recieved my VF-17S yesterday.... It´s amazing... truly amazing. No QC problems at all. And it´s quite beautiful too... So, what can I say?. Besides almost losing a couple of fingers, transformation went prety well. The legs are firm, but in a good way. The canopy doesn´t have any problems.... well. I love it. I just love it...
  21. They tend to loose. My VF-19 left ankle wasn´t any a tight as the right, so in gerwalk the feet were so loose that the Valkyrie falls to the front. And, as you can see in my personal collection, I own quite a few to know how to pose them. A little bit of Superglue and they are perfectly fine. The same with the VF-25 / 29 I love the ball jointed ankles, but they have to find a way to keep them more consistent. If you don´t have any problems, great
  22. You´re right. My VF-19kai has the magical superglue fix for the ankles... and that way, they are great for posing. The problem is, like you say, the way they are engineered...
  23. What´s the problem with the VF-19 double jointed elbows? They are great, and the sliding metal biceps does a great job blocking the view of the joint in case you don´t need it... I have one and it´s really great... If you have a VF-19 (any version), and you look the CAD pic, it´s the same structural mold.
  24. You are mixing things quite a bit. Arcadia IS Yamato. Bandai doesn´t have anything to do here... By the way, Bandai offerings were 1/65, not 1/60, as Yamato (now Arcadia) does. And, more on topic, the mold is quite the exact same as the VF-19, minus some logical changes. The height, the proportions, almost everything "structural wise" seems to be identical. Wich would be absolutely logical, by the way.... I have a VF-19 and its a wonderful piece of engineering. Taking into account that the gerwalk joint in the VF-19 doesn´t allow for an intake cover (because the "engine" piece cannot be put under), and seeing how the CAD looks the same as the VF-19, I´d say that it won´t have intake covers... but it´s just a guess....
