  1. I'm on the other side. I owned all 3 Gakken 1/35 figures in the Robotech branded packaging. I've waited 35 years for an equivalent figure. The Sentinrl is the best so far. I want that boom.
  2. I wond3r if scalpers are buying up later issues knowing that the demand is very high for them.
  3. It's about time for bandai to milk a different mold. VF-11 would be awesome
  4. Is anyone else annoyed that so much of DYRL was spent following a weaponless valkyrie?
  5. i wonder how many storage spaces/ attics are full of macross toys never destined to be played with or displayed.
  6. The seller i use has canceled/ refunded several of my orders recently. If they were posted at the same time/ date every week like a macross preorder id be good, but its way more random than that. As it is I'm reliant on hlj backorder for issue 85.
  7. Can someone print to order? I'll buy.

Come on already Bandai. I never thought we would get DX DYRL Kakizaki before we got the HMR version. I would be quite happy if they released 2-packs of HMR Max/Kakizaki VF-1A from SDFM and DYRL.
  9. Arcadia needs to make with the TV version.
  10. Yeah, we certainly don't need it that big. A decent 1/48 would be nice, but really 1/24 would be ideal. Also, I don't think the gun is supposed to be centered on the hood of the tank.
  11. I get a notification from DHL which allows me to opt out of delivery signature confirmation (which I do every time). Often they drop off while I'm home and I get a text notification that it's delivered and voila.
  12. I wasn't sure if I wanted the 1A Kakizaki, but now that it's here...its so pretty. Certainly would prefer the TV version though. Got it from MyKombini via expensive DHL.
  13. DHL, which has actually been a 1/3 cheaper and as fast or faster than EMS (to the east coast US). Oddly, mykombini charged me MORE for DHL than EMS on the DX VF-1A. 3rd bridge was a pain to put together, especially the hydrolic pistons. Got a teeny bit of glue on the outside, not bad. I got more glue on an aileron of the VF-1. I still need to build 081-083, I will either have to disassemble one section of hull for the wings (i put a magnet in backwards) or assemble the wing with opposite magnet polarities. Secured 20-22 of the VF-1 from hlj. Still need 079 of Yamato. Definitely the most fun models I've ever built.
  14. Just to make the shipping worthwhile I'm getting 2 sets of the Yamato, one to build and one likely to sell (I'm sure I'll lose money on the effort) . Issue 079 I wasn't able to get a 2nd. Will have to get it from an auction source. Only getting one set of the Macross VF-1 because the shipping is already covered by the yamato. I really wish they had done the TV SDF-1 instead of the VF-1S. Missing 20-22 of the VF-1.
  15. Ok, weird, those aren't on their shipping page: https://mykombini.com/en/content/1-Shipping They also don't give me those options for completing my order:
  16. Where are we at with JP Post and shipping to the US? Its the only option MyKombini has and I need to complete my Kakizaki preorder.
  17. Up to issue 82 on the Hachette Yamato...I don't see how they finish this thing in 28 more issues. Only 2/3 of the hull is done. There's the whole fighter bay and engine compartments yet to build.
  18. So...Umbrella Academy season 2, HBO's Watchmen, Doom Patrol and Lovecraft Country are all wrapped up in the 50s/60s civil rights/pre-civil rights movement era? Are sci-fi writers getting stuck? Is this really the best decade to set their stories? IMO Stranger Things picked a far superior decade.

Still waiting on the SDFM SP for 1A and the launch arm. But if only we would have gotten the Max and Milia in THOSE COLORS, instead of the pastel blue and pink we actually got.
  20. Vanya (and Ellen Page) really doesn't help the likeability of the show.
  21. I'd go with whatever method they use for guitar bridges and tuning machines. Even the smoke/cosmic black would suffice. On guitars these are often-touched, moving parts that do bare weight (String tension) and largely do not have chipping or oxidizing issues.
  22. Does it specify a preorder date?
  23. Those sorts of joints should always be steel IMO. So long as they don't need to hold a position due to tension. Its a simple hinge.
