You can make a fighter OR a battroid OR a gerwalk with ONE gerwalk kit. Its part-swappable depending on the mode you want.

Yup thats what i tot too. But just to address the glue question, and whether or not you glue everything and if unable to switch back to other modes... from DH website... http://hobby.dengeki.com/news/188653/ If you build gerwalk, i suspect you will have the figher back + the battroid body as modular leftovers. But it does look as you can switch modes after you glue the main components.. And nothing would stop you from building a Franken valk with different 1s,j,a parts. Whether u want to or not that's the question haha...

Time for a revisit of charger69's previous post, showing the bottom close-ups? http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=43118&page=10 Knowing what i know from the OP transformation now, the gun must appear above the fuselage indicating somesort of swing mechanism for the bottom middle fuselage. Hence, because of this fact, i thk for battroid, the nosecone shall become the body and hip joint, as i dont see any more "body" left for the hips to join to after the gun swings up.

There is a picture of the gerwalk parts in the 1A picture section; http://www.tomytec.co.jp/gimix/lineup/macross/index.html Translation of sentence below parts picture; Gawoku and rearrange the hands and feet of the fighter fuselage section and the Battroid also be reproduced! I see 4 distinct modules in the pic ie fighter fuselage; arms; legs and folded backpack. Looks like there isnt a armless gerwalk mode. You can see tab's on the gerwalk bits which look T-shaped. This might imply a fit and slide mechanism. It looks like a module system where you glue to create modules. So, the key presumption is F/B mode's; you can to detach the arm/leg and back bits out. That presumption isnt mentioned anywhere in the F/B info sections. However based on the gerwalk parts picture and translation, it looks as if there will be existing tab points in F/B mode to do this.

She looks so nimble on one leg. Nice pose overall, tho i wonder how she would fit in with future walkure figures ( you know they are planning a walkure group linkage!)

well her poster has additionally what looks to be leafs sprouting from her hair. Some form of sentient nature being that is in tune with the planet? There looks to be a glass shards too at the bottom, suggesting maybe she was bio enginneered in a tank?

Yea nothing like an old close up to reconfirm the thoughts!In light of the arm split down the spine, was looking for the split line. I gather it to be the ridge of the gold frame area in the middle of the spine, but if so do the arms look unequal in length? The arm holding the shield would be as long as the fuselage till the leg nozzles?

Looks like the tail rudder will unfold to become a larger diamond shaped shield.

I get the point on A-listing to sell the movie, but I also feel studio's often overlook good casting. Good casting is half the movie sold. Otherwise the audience will not get invested in the character and subsequently the movie. An A-lister cast wrongly cast can sink the movie or even the A lister's reputation...*cough* Tonto *cough* A B-lister who fits the character description well, can pull crowds via good reviews or to see a breakout star... -
I dont mind arcadia pricing their toys high, as they obviously see the demand there. But for goodness sake, Add Tampo, Effect parts, Stands, or make your product innovative (more opening hatches? magnetised gunpods/fueltanks? LED's?) Something that would differentiate the product other than scale... Keep your customers happy! Quality used to be a good reason for price, but when your compeitors catch up on the quality front as well, you gotta differentiate by adding something else. Ok rant over.
