  1. You really contribute to the fans of Yamato so much. I just post some pics/ movies recently...
  2. It's because their strategical difference. The group ships look long-distance-attack oriented using the Wave Motion Guns. On the other hand, the Yamato uses both the main guns, the Wave Motion guns and, in addition, the pulse laser guns and its fighter planes for melee battles.
  3. I sometimes watch the videos uploaded by stevethefishdotnet. He is a non-Japanese modeler in Japan. He posted the video about the Woder Fest in Kentucky last year on Youtube. He often goes to the Wonder Festival in Makuhari, too. He experiences both events and upload the movies. Hope these ones help you to recognize the difference from each of them.
  4. Oh, it's 9:17 am in Japan. Max Factory has been hiding it till yesterday.
  5. Another Japanese forum member, Cancer107 went to the Hobby Show yesterday and took some pics. Hmm, I envy him because I don't plan to go there this year. He allow me to introduce them to MW. Thanks. And he asked the person who belongs to Max Factory about its price. He said it will be from 10,000 yen to 15,000 yen at a fixed price.
  6. I wonder why Tiger and Bunny got #1, #2 and #6.
  7. At least Mr. Nishizaki thinks the world-wide release of these series. As I said before, they collaborate with Under Armor to sell their products outside of Japan. Yeah, IMHO, they have been teasing the foreign fans for a long long time, too. Not teasing, now torturing.
  8. According to the latest official announcement, the 3 meter Andromeda model will be exhibited at Shizuoka Hobby Show in May. Its scale is 1/ 135, approximately 10 feet. It will be held from the 11th to 14th and it is a official one, so that exhibited for all days. Well, I am so sorry but I won't go there this year...
  9. For the fans in Japan and VPN users outside of it. Abema TV broadcasts SDF Macross, Macross 7, Macross F and Macross Delta every weekday and night on the Net from May. Sorry, no subs. Source (Japanese): http://animeanime.jp/article/2017/03/29/33228.html
  10. When one of the fans asked it, Nishizaki-san answered "I don't know why" for the first time. I also think that the subtitles are needed. Is that a something strategic to sell the discs? It's just a guessing and I have no idea. A MW member, Analyser809 was at the table in the restaurant, too. So I hope he will describe the detail about it.
  11. Tim Eldred's web site added the news in Japan recently including the interesting story that he and his friends happened to see the executive producer of Yamato 2199 and 2202, Shoji Nishisaki at a Restaurant. Besides, they asked him some questions and he answered to them. I hope it gives you a better understanding what the official Yamato staffs want to do in the near future. http://ourstarblazers.com/vault/169a/
  12. Hm, just a Pachinko/ pachislo promotion. It doesn't have anything about the story of MF. At least May'n will be able to earn more money.
  13. I went to Wonder Fest today. So sorry, but I couldn't see the latest info of the 1/20 Valk; so many models to see in the garage kit area. BTW, I found interesting models at the KAKIMOTO's booth (6-09-03). The 1/20 skull squadron members in DYRL. I wonder if there is someone who buy 4 Valks for them.
  14. Aw... I have to omit the fu*king spoiler crap during the next TV series again. :/ I really hate some big mouth guys.
  15. ”Screening.” AFAIK, at least 2 non-Japanese fans will come to Japan to watch it. One is from LA, and the other is from Gold Coast in Australia.
  16. I have been expecting this kind of incident will occur some day, but it came much earlier than I have expected. I don't know it in detail, but it's so spontaneous. I have already known some other jaw-dropping attitudes of them. The only thing I can tell is it happened at all.
