Our Women Of Robotech presentation will be in PANEL 5 (Hilton rooms 4-6) in the Hilton on Friday at 9AM.

Our "Women Of Robotech" panel is tentatively scheduled to kick off Otakon 2016 at 9AM on Friday the 12th. The current schedule posted is just a preview schedule and subject to change. Keep an eye out for updates.
This year, we are opening with a Japanese version of the 1970s Wonder Woman TV theme sung by the Tirolian Muses. We'll explore how animation changed over the years, Robotech's importance in the 80s, and focus on the roles the women portrayed in each chapter of the series.

As a bonus for this panel, we will have a live performance of TOP GUN's "Danger Zone" & MACROSS' "My Boyfriend Is A Pilot", both in Japanese.

Channel surfing one day provided the inspiration for my new Macross relatated AMV. Here it is:

We presented our Macross/Robotech panel at Setsucon, Zenkaikon and Tekkoshocon earlier this year. We will be presenting an updated version of the panel at Otakon in Baltimore, MD this August.

We'll be presenting our Macross/Robotech: Mythology & Physics panel at Otakon 2013 in Baltimore, MD. We tap into the full 30 years of Macross & Robotech and beyond. Mythology will dip into the past and swing around to things with a more recent pop-cultural sci-fi/superhero flavour. Deculture! We'll also have some fun with physics without making your head hurt too much Bazinga! PLUS, Music is such a huge part of Macross/Robotech, that we will include a new special live performance.
If you are cosplaying any Macross or Robotech character, join us after the panel for a group photo! So far it looks like we'll have Max, Milia, Minmay, Basara, Sheryl, Ranka, Ozma, Michael, and Yellow Dancer.

Let me know if she is interested in going old-school as Global.

We are cosplaying Max & Milia at Otakon 2013 in August. We'd like to do a brief wedding ceremony on one of the days. We have our Max/Milia SDF Macross wedding costumes. Any Capt Global cosplayers out there interested in performing the ceremony? Other Macross cosplayers invited to attend!
-
We are thinking about doing a short Max & Milia wedding ceremony at Otakon 2013. It'd be great to have fellow Macross cosplayers in attendance. We're looking for someone interested in being Captain Global to conduct the ceremony. Contact me if you're interested.

Macross doesn't shy away from presenting viewers with some heavy issues. This AMV illustrates the troubled relationship between Kyle & Minmay. Not everyone survives the pitfalls of the celebrity spotlight, it can be very unforgiving.

I always pass through the dealers room to see what unexpected find might be there. Occasionally you get lucky.
Our Macross/Robotech panel at Tekkoshocon is scheduled for:
Sunday the 7th
1PM
Panel Room #2
See you there! -

Great! If you are cosplaying any Macross character, stick around after our panel for a group photo.
As for collectibles, I've seen stuff at most dealer rooms but sometimes it's hard to find. Harmony Gold will also have a panel at Tekko, they usually have some prizes to hand out. -

We are still slotted for 2PM on Sunday. If you cosplay any Macross/Robotech characters, stick around afterward for a group photo.

We'll be presenting our Macross: Mythology & Physics panel at Tekkoshocon X-2 in Pittsburgh this April. The schedule has not been released but it will likely be on Sunday. We will discuss Macross/Robotech connections to ancient & pop mythology and toss in a healthy dose of physics from quarks to m-theory. We're hoping to welcome a guest appearance from Sheryl & Ranka cosplayers for a live performance, it depends on when we get scheduled.
-
Bring your Macross cosplays to our Macross/Robotech panel at Tekkoshocon. The schedule has not been announced yet but it will likely be on Sunday. We will be cosplaying as Max & Milia for the panel. We may also have a guest appearance from Sheryl & Ranka cosplayers for a live performance.

Sorry for any confusion. Mr. Epcar will be at Zenkaikon however he is not participating in our panel (unless he happens to drop in unannounced). We will have a tribute to Ben Dixon as part of the panel though.
-
We just received word that our Macross/Robotech panel was accepted for Zenkaikon 2013 in Lancaster, PA. We are currently scheduled for Sunday the 24th at 2PM. We will delve into some ancient & pop mythologies and dabble in some 21st century physics.
Robotech voice actor Richard Epcar will be a guest at Zenkaikon this year.
