IMHO, Commander Colt's (left) has a much better paint scheme and is looking sharp: http://www.sandtroopers.com/sandwatch/hasbro/20110307/index.html

Well, this may help with the troop building: Two white Clone Troopers along with one from the 501st and one from the 212th!

Anyone have any info on this CW ARF Trooper? It's not the same as the one included with the speeder and wasn't part of Hasbro's presentation. Thanks.

Not sure if you saw Mr. Filoni's Episode Commentary from last week's episode ( http://starwars.com/video/view/001221.html ), but I like how he explained these Mortis episodes as: "...you have to think of it, like, these are three entire episodes that take place in the tree when Luke was on Dagobah." Makes sense, now. Right?- 1217 replies

Well, grabbed the Y-Wing today for only $20 because the boxed was damaged. Couldn't pass it up. Think I'll check to see if the ARC was still in the clearance aisle and grab that, too!! In the meantime, while sick and out-of-work, I had some figure issues.....looks like I got to get my son more bad guys!

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v3.0
GRAND CANNON replied to wolfx's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Just watched Blood: The Last Vampire and am now working on Blood+. Good stuff. -
I can take a look when I get out perusing. I don't even look at them, so I'll have to pay more attention.Also.... New pic for the Republic Attack Ship and it's playset conversion, which I'm not sure how I feel about yet: Someone translated the text as: "Spaceship and Playset in one: Republic attack ship transforms in a jiffy in front orbital gliders into a ground station. With light and sound effects and an exclusive Speilgs"...which makes me think it may be an exclusive in the States, too. On a side note: I've seen some 'clearance' CW Y-Wings and ARC-170s around, but would only get one. Leaning towards the Y-wing for my son....yeah, that's it....my son. Seems more meatier with less moving parts. Thoughts?

Just picked up Eeth Koth's sidekick - Captain Lock at a local K-Mart here on the East Coast, US. Me like more Clones!!

Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series
GRAND CANNON replied to BoBe-Patt's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yes, the possibilities of going deeper into the tons of side-stories during an epic conflict "of this magnitude" is endless, indeed. I'd also actually prefer the CW-animated style, if actually created, as opposed to a live action series. Just think a L-A series would come under too much criticism and expectations which may then cause the series to possibly falter. Guess you could use BSG as an example of how L-A could work, but I think we are all aware, the BSG universe IS NOT the SW universe.- 1217 replies

They do......"from a certain point of view." Another awesome episode. All I can say about this amazing series is: 30 minutes per week and 22 episodes per season is too short and how ever many seasons there will be will not be long enough.- 1217 replies

NICE! And because I've been home sick and have too much time, I was trying to somehow negate the robo-Maul talk. With a screen shot from CW ep 14 and a Maul pic, I was hoping to see that the markings and/or horns were different, but they don't appear to be!!!- 1217 replies

I dunno, but maybe nothing will be 'tragic' at all. Maybe Rex ends up leaving at some point, Cut Lawquane-style, when he sees how things are going. He IS the icon for Clone Wars, so it's possible they want his character to remain. As far as Ahsoka is concerned, she could be exiled to a far-off world to be brought back into the picture at a later date. Ya think the marketing side of this, Ashley Eckstein's merch., will decide what happens? "Welcome to the site! Here is the merchandise from voice actor of CW's Ahsoka Tano, Anakin's padawan.....who was then brutally murdered by ....."- 1217 replies

Agreed, but there's no way in hell that A) the CW team would actually think of bringing Maul back and B) that Lucas approves it. ....is there?- 1217 replies
