haven't been to one in a while, not liking how the autograph session is setup. used to be you go to panel, at the end of panel you wait in line, get your autograph. no extra ticket to buy. first come first serve. you already paid for the ticket to get in. why all these extra charges. they are now making us fight over a ticket to get an autograph starting at 8am? and if you are fast enough, you don't get priority and have to stand by? my only interest in AX is to see Shoji Kawamori's panel and get something signed at the end... that would be my only reason for going to AX. after the panel/signing, I'm going home. don't want to spend all freaking day and night at AX.

what?... what? oh man... I haven't been to AX in over a decade... last time I went was when he did a panel and had the Macrossworld meeting... what, 2002 or something? someone post the schedule!

very nice! I had a Macross 7 cell I got signed by him sometime in 2001/2002? whenever the Macrossworld meeting was at the anime convention held in Anaheim, I think. it's been so long I can't remember... long sold(yeah, I'm still kicking myself for that one).

I remember a few years ago at San Diego comic con I've seen a dealer thare carring a die-cast mazinger(or was it Grendizer?) toy with with a matching station/base thing that had like a elevator thing built in where you place the mazinger on top of it and it would lower it inside. (Does that make any sense?) it even had the ufo(?) unit if I remember correctly... I remember getting quoted like $200 or $300 or something... Does anyone have more info on this thing? thanks.
