  1. It IS possible to like both or more. I like G1 because it's what I grew up with. I hated Beast Wars/Machines. I thought Energon was garbage. I liked Animated. Could care less for TFPrime. I happen to enjoy Bay's version of Movie Transformers. I think Hasbro's retelling of the series whether it's G1 or whatever is for every generation of fans to have something to attach itself to. When the first Movie came out, I thought damn will it be like G1, design wise. At first I didn't like them but it grew to me. The designers were or are TF fans as well just that the engineering to their designs made more sense as to how an alien race of robots would transform from vehicle to robot.
  2. I currently own Sideshow Collectibles 1/6 scale General Skywalker and Captain Rex. Also Exclusive Snake Eyes and Exclusive Flint in their GI Joe line. I was owned and sold all my Hot Toys collections: Iron Man Mark III, Batman Dark Knight Costume, Joker Bank Robber Costume, T700, T600, John Connor and John Conner Final Battle. And Medicom's Snake with Croc helmet. IMO, Hot Toys are pricey but of all the 1/6 scale brands but they make the best figures in the biz. Head sculp is second to none. They look like the actor they are portraying. Sideshow's head sculpt isn't the greatest. Medicom is a hit and miss because the Snake figure I got, some joints were loose.
  3. LOL... I didn't realize by it went through the first time and hit send a second. I didn't know it would later come out that way. Yeah it definitely takes you back to a certain time. Geez I'm showing my age. I have soft spot for the posters/pics with water colors.
  4. You know, GI Joe the animated movie didn't fair well either. Maybe it's just a GI Joe curse?! GI Joe live action movie was OK, I actually paid to watch it in the theatre. Man, I just thought they could've done a better job. Not to go off topic but Transformers (which is more far fetch - Alien Robots) has a better plot and acting, than GI Joe which involves realistic issues - an elite unit and terrorist. Whoever is doing GI Joe 2, needs to do a better job.
  5. Really?! I wasn't aware of that. Cool. But I grew up on Street Fighter
  6. Yes Please! I wear glasses so wearing 3D glasses on top of them is annoying.
  7. Yea I agree, I collected and sold the first wave of Star Wars - Sideshow came out with from the movie verse and sold them. Thought I was done then the Clone Wars pulled me back in. This time around I'll just stick with the Clone Wars Universe. I want Clones! I also forgot to add that I collect Lego Star Wars as well.
  8. I just want to thank this site for properly differenciating Robotech and Macross, that was back when Yamato first announced they had the rights to making Macross toys. I grew up watching Robotech but watched Macross DYRL and was confused. Now I just cringe whenever I hear Robotech or anything attach to that and Harmony Gold.
  9. I personally collect Sideshow Collectibles 12", 1/6 scale figues - picked up General Anakin Skywalker and Capt'n Rex from the Clone Wars universe. Looking to score Commander Cody next.
  10. Finally saw it yesterday. Pretty good flick. But I still think Iron Man 1 beats all of the Marvel: Pre-Avengers movies that has come out thus far. I'm sure that will change when Captain America comes out which is hyped as this year's Dark Knight! But back to Thor, it was great. I loved it when the Shield Agent asks if there is a Renaisance Fair going on. And also adds, one looks like Zeena, Robin Hood and Jackie Chan. Loved it, lol.
  11. I thought there was a similarity with EXOSQUAD with Robotech/Macross. It was cool but I actually stop watching it when I realized they were airing Sailor Moon as well. LOL Ugh, did I just say that?!
  12. Great collection! I envy you guys. I personally prefer the Minmay, Misa and Hikaru posters - together in one pic/poster. It has a bitter sweet feeling to it. Great collection! I envy you guys. 13. REALLY?! hmmm... I did pick up some BLEACH figures but from my opinion, it's not worth the whopping price of 45 -50 dollars for them. Details to paint apts are great on the BLEACH figures but some QC issues: I bought a Rukia figure and the left arm was popped off when I opened the figure. I couldn't even pop it back in. Later on the ankle broke off. My final thoughts on them are a hit and miss. But are you willing to risk for a hefty price?!
