Always a pleasure to come to MacrossWorld Con. Everyone is friendly and the events are fun. The collectibles on display and also on sale manage to make my jaw drop year after year with something new every time.
As Jet mentioned, here are my pictures on Photobucket.
PS: also thank you for putting that Haruhiko Mikimoto signed artboard for silent auction. I love it very much:

Had a blast on Sunday. Great seeing some of you and a pleasure meeting new people! I will post all my pictures later this week since I took around 200 haha.
EDIT: Here are my pictures, same place where I uploaded my pictures from 2009 and 2010.

Can't wait to see you guys again!

Wow, the location is pretty much in my own backyard. The plaza it's located has plenty of free parking and a humongous variety of cheap food options (restaurant, food courts, Asian cafes, etc.)
Think I have no excuse for not attending this year =P

So from the lack of activity here it doesn't seem like we'll have one this year....?

I'll be there all 4 days. Concert last year was awesome. Hope they would put it on a DVD at some point.

Continuing my search for shitajikis...

Man, I would totally like to go and see everyone again, but Thursday nights are UCLA JAC meetings and this week is our special Halloween meeting. Hope you guys have fun! Ironically I ate at Curry House in Little Tokyo yesterday XD

Awesome, thanks for the tips guys. JasonC is selling me his extra copies so I'm all set.
On a side note, I also buy Gundam Ace so when they first released Macross Ace I was totally ecstatic. Would be nice if they release them more frequently, but I guess it's better the original release schedule of just a few a year.

Wow, impression collections everyone! I have a small collection of anime shitajikis (Gundam, Cyber Formula, Bleach, etc.) and I currently have 1 Macross shitajiki, pictures are in this thread since I'm making it available for trade:

Where do you guys get your Macross Ace other than Kinokuniya and ebay? I'm missing volumes 2 and 3 and was wondering if there's a way to get those backissues.

(Hope I'm posting in the correct forum)
Hi everyone,
I collect anime shitajikis/pencil boards, and lately I've been trying to find some from Macross DYRL. Nothing specific, but I'd like to see if anyone has some that they might be willing to sell or trade. I currently have a Misa Hayase shitajiki is excellent condition available for a potential trade. Please see the attached files pictures of details.
Let me know if you're interested! Thank you!

I think we all should take lessons from him.
That should be one of the workshops next year: "Sing Macross Songs Like a Manly Man Can" by Operator7G
On a side note, if anyone was wondering about the "One Day More" Macross AMV that I sang to during open mic, here's the link:

Hey guys, this Jack from the UCLA anime club. You probably remember me as the "Early Attendee Raffle Guy" or the guy who sang the manly Ai Oboete Imasuka at the karaoke contest XD
Just want to thank everyone from MacrossWorld who attended the con this year. It was great hanging out with huge Macross fans like yourselves, and I thank you so much for sharing with us your passion for Macross, whether it be displaying your customs/collections, singing, offering awesome DJ'ing, or ever singing karaoke. Being able to contribute to the event and to the happiness of the attendees has made volunteering very fulfilling; in fact, at times it was just as fun as the convention's events! I pretty much know people I met at the con by their real names, so I am still unfamiliar with your MacrossWorld usernames (besides >EXO< and KiriK), but if you remember me, please drop me a PM so we can stay in touch!
As a former president of the UCLA anime club, I couldn't be more proud of the work that Phillipp, Melissa, Jenny, and the rest of the club have put in to collaborate with MacrossWorld to make this convention happen. I feel the club has reached a new level in making its presence known in the community, and it has the potential to continue it growth. I hope you guys enjoyed your time at UCLA, from its facilities to food options and the overall environment.
I took around 200 pictures so it'll take some time for me to upload them XD

Looking forward to having a great time this weekend! I'll see you guys bright and early to help with setup! =P

Sign me up for the karaoke contest! I'd like to do Ai Oboete Imasu Ka!

Quick question regarding registration. I registered several weeks ago, but should I get a confirmation email of some sort? Thanks.
Can't wait till the day of the con!

Thanks for that link. So, nobody who went has pics of the audience? Trying to put something together. If you do, could you post it here, or pm me a link? Thanks for your help.
There's a few in the link I posted earlier:

I believe it's 9 bucks for the whole day.
It's now $10.

I had a blast at this year! I very much enjoyed the concert (sat very close to the front) and attended both the panels for May'n, Megumi, and Konishi. I somehow got all of their autographs despite some crazy mobs there.
My friend is a huge May'n fan so he after getting autographs and seeing the concert, he can die happy. My friend took some really nice pictures of the concert, check'em out:

Wow, I just joined the forums and am greeted with such awesome news!
Hi my name is Jack. I have been involved in the JAC at UCLA leadership for the last couple of years. I met some of you during last year's MacrossWorld Con and at this past AX as well. I'm glad that UCLA is hosting the event again this year!
