I remember those pink slips. Now, they have a colored anime mascots (two kawaii gals in various themes, JK,kimono etc) artwork insert with a different theme. If something is wrong with the product, informed them at once. That won't guarantee a replacement. Btw, I recently ordered a TF Legends Blaster. They emailed me immediately to inform me that the box had a bit of a crease. Their supplier couldn't give them a replacement and gave me the option to cancel. I didn't 'cause getting a LTF Legends Blaster is so much a pain in the B......hind. Is that service or what? Anyway, my VF-1A just arrived. Will be putting him to the paces once I deal with my TF Legends haul. You are a really bad man!

Not true. I once had a defective product. When I sent them the images the offered to replace it but the shipping back to Japan is care off you. Shipping back to you will be on the house (depends on the shipping you previously paid so you will have a hole in your pocket for the return to Japan shipping). Since I was a bit short on cash back then, I didn't send for a replacement because it would have cost me more to send back. They will replace a defective item if they have a replacement. If not available, well no mention of refunds so if you used PayPal, maybe you can raise the issue to PayPal if amiami won't cooperate. Though it would be prudent to inquire from them first.

Sometimes that's the only answer to such complicated problems.

Lucky you. Mine is still on the way. Btw, if all this pulls through and hlj won't cancel their pre-orders(which happens a lot all too often) the VF-J Hikaru will be mine! Thanks for the heads up guys and gals! Already have the armored VF1J, Monster, Regault and Glaug, Hikaru VF1S superpack. I'll hunt for the Fockker later.

This Monster is indeed a "monster". Just recently been re watching the orignal Macross episode where the Daedalus attack was initiated. The Monster was in the background behind the other mini me destroids. If what my eyes see is correct, the "monster" almost made up the width of the Daedalus. And when comparing its size in the Hasegawa cruiser mode of the Macross, the mini Monster figure included in the kit has it almost as big and wide as Gun Sight One only shorter. If such a walking artillery/ mobile/bipedal tank/howitzer was ever built, psychological effect alone will get me to wet my pants if I were the enemy.

We umans have the tendency to do that. Once exposed to the same experience, the fight or flight response ratchets the responsive ooooohhh and aaaaaaahhs down. I agree! Can't wait for the powered armors for those alien amazons

Not defending those guys or anything but they never pulled such a stunt on me. Whether it be pre owned. Maybe it also depends on the destination of the purchase. The farther from Japan the more the "registered" requirement.

For amiami, it's a recent development for items with 10000Y above value that the automatically request for registered shipping. Must be too many "non delivered items"

Kind of a minor bummer that Bandai's box art and figure is almost 99% spot on. Too much cost to add a dot I guess. Thanks for pointing out the site and I got to see the old HM figure.
