  1. WUT!!! JUMPED RIGHT INTO ORDERING IT, THANK YOU!!!! T_T I can finally go out now, was planning to camp on my PC for the weekend
  2. Guys im confused. Amiami(where i pre ordered) and Hobbysearch states that release is Nov but HLJ shows that its august. Which one's the correct date? I feel like im missing something here
  3. It's gone from HS now, hope those who wanted it got it, though cdjapn still have at retail price. CANNOT wait for mine but I'm worried after seeing all of the Bandai horror stories at the VF-25 renewal thread
  4. Oh god I got the same dilemma too! Except I have VF-11B to consider as well. For me, since VF-22S of all 3 versions are still ebay-able at ok prices, might as well get SV-51 first if you can get it at a reasonable price, THEN get VF-22s . But of course, you have to consider future re-issues IF ANY by Arcadia too and see if you would like to risk it.
  5. I've built a yamato kit and it's not so much of a problem compared to this, building wise. Just needs some elbow grease trying to slot those pins through some diecast parts.
  6. Great idea. a place to keep all of the YF-19 missiles instead of Roy's since 19 doesn't seem to come with a stand(yet). So now maybe those who feel bad about double dipping on DYRL Roy may feel better lol. Buy this for the greater good.
  7. I really hope this release becomes like the RVF-25 where it's still available at HS.
  8. If this is a pattern.. 3rd VF-1 release would be Max's 1S!
  9. YF-21 please! You cant have 19 without that!
  10. I've got one, so far my only regret is airbrushing it. Flaked paint fiesta! And my right wrist's balljoint snapped too because I failed to realise that the paint will make the joint tighter.I wish that I should have just built it OOB. They definitely need to reconsider not doing those super tiny pegs found at the landing gear doors. Like the VF-25 kits, they do not stay attached!!
  11. WOW thanks, gonna grab one i suppose. Nice one IXTL!! Well I was fiddling with my old bandai 1/72 Luca kit still unsure if I really want to get it. Guess what, the neck snapped! ok lets buy this
  12. Sure I'll post more soon, just that I'm not finished with it yet. Need to clean up some oversprays and apply details. I only masked and painted the non white areas. I used Mr Resin Primer (the only primer i had that time at home) painted the orange with tamiya spray can and then airbrushed the dark, dark blue(almost black). Then topped it off with Mr Super clear after applying decals. Still its not scratch proof, I've got scratches at the sliding part of the fuselage.
  13. I've always wanted to start a collection but had been putting it off for years. WHY didn't I start earlier! For the past two months I've frantically tried to find what I can get after hearing Yamato's gone! I managed to get the full TV Vermillion team, was deciding between that or the DYRL Vermillion team. The deciding factor was that Kakizaki was basically cheap everywhere and I found a Max locally. Got lucky with a cheap 1D at a local flea market, but sadly has a crack on each of the shoulder hinge. For now, I can say I'm officially sick of VF-1's. So here ya go! My favourite mode of all time, Gerwalk w/o hands I still have a 1/60 YF-19 and an incomplete 1/48 Max, but I've kept them since I'm selling them away. Might probably sell off my Hikaru 1S since he doesn't really fit with my 'pearly whites' and I've pre-ordered arcadia's Roy. I'm thinking of getting Gamlin's VF-22s or his VF-17s next though, as I'm tired of buying VF-1 recolours for now. So on with something new!
  14. Re-issue Super Ostrich and Elintseeker! >.> missed those and now they cost a BOMB
  15. Hi there! I'm new to the forums. got sucked in right away after i decided to try a macross F kit (Michael's Custom) when there was a sale at my country. God it was awesome, never made a kit so cool before. Tomorrow i'd be getting Luca's Custom from a dude. I'm also waiting for the VF-27, and I agree with wm cheng. Those wings look too heavy for the hinge piece! I bet its going to break like those super parts incidents. Nevertheless, the design is truely awesome! I also got a few qns regarding the kits: 1.Do you recommend me to trim down the water slide(excess transparent parts) before i wet it or will it be just OK if i use the mark setter? how much mark setter solution should i use? 2.When top coating bare plastic with decals, should i go with Mr Super Clear or TOPCOAT? I heard one of them eats plastic but i forgot which 3.Also what do you guys think of how Semi-Gloss coat looks like? Does it look good on a macross kit? Thanks guys and Cheers!
