Well, you may be right. I love the design but at the same time I don't think it's innovative.

Actually, I'm not really impressed about it. IMO this is no more than a scaled down Yamarcadia (which is actually what amazes me), sharing with it design, proportions and engineering, so kudos to Mr.K or T-REX in any case On the other side, the 1/60 version had some design shortcomings like the short arms and the inability to rotate the shoulders, both of which have not been addressed at all by Bandai... Please don't misunderstand me, I really love this new iteration, but there is nothing new here but the scale and the much more iconic (and lovable for some of us) paint scheme.

Mr.K mentioned some time ago he'd like to revisit their YF-21 toy design. I couldn't be happier about those intentions at the time but I wonder now if I wouldn't prefer a DX Chogokin version of it, all improvements on the line considered. Do we know if after M Delta Bandai can get the license to follow that path?
