  1. Looking at the clip again....he does use the Force to pull blasters from the hands of some of those Rebels.... I will just assume in his Sith rage he lost focus of several better ways that he could have exterminated everyone in that corridor....
  2. LOL.....How is finding a fault with a movie or anything else an exercise in making yourself unhappy?....nothing is perfect.....OMG...not even Star Wars!....accepting mediocrity, on the other hand, would be pretty sad....
  3. Leia did look off....I think it was the inappropriate and awkward smirk....I mean....dozens of her fellow rebels had just died to get her those plans just minutes ago....
  4. Ohsato Miss Macross Lynn Minmay doll promotional poster..... ...in case you are unfamiliar with the Ohsato Minmay dolls.... ***Note the Macross collector "seals" included inside the boxes.....more info on those here: This Ohsato ad seems to suggest an unreleased Minmay in Chinese dress and....a Misa!
  5. The TV version is via the Robotech store....Bariaburu may be able to help with the DYRL version....
  6. Always wanted to get one.....but I never seem to get around to it.....DYRL version is nice but I prefer the TV SDF-1....OK....I'll make it a New Year's resolution!
  7. Imperial Officer: Lord Vader, the battle station plans are not aboard this ship! And no transmissions were made. An escape pod was jettisoned during the fighting, but no life forms were aboard. Vader (thinking to himself): Hmmmmmm.....why the F did the rebels jump out of hyperspace above Tatooine? I mean, seriously, Tatooine?!?!? Maybe I should take matters into my own hands...I mean this is serious...or at least I thought it was just a few minutes ago.....I should go down there and investigate myself...maybe I could sense something i have not sensed in years.....something or someone like........Nah!!!!!......I hate sand!!!
  8. I would put TFA at #8 also...it really deserves it....but Luke saved it for me and the promise of a renewed "hope" in Episode 8......a fool's hope...I know.....
  9. Honestly, I could have easily either swapped both spots or listed them as tied..... Both have some things I liked....TFA just barely beats out AOTC based on finally seeing a "crazy old man" Luke Skywalker....seeing Luke at the end of TFA made me forget how awful it was to sit through a rehashing of the OT.....oh well, hopefully the rest of the ST won't blow....although the rumors I have been reading do not fill me with "hope"....
  10. That's exactly what Disney wants you to do! I got both seasons for xmas.....but now apparently you will need to watch season 3 to get the whole picture about Saw and the seeds of the Rebellion... Guess you'll need to watch Rebels season 3!
  11. The Bor Gullet (was it a creature or a sentient species?) was just an easy way at showing that Saw's methods were a mirror image of imperial methods...so basically the Imperials had their Imperial Probe Droid and the Rebel "extremists" had their mind-reading "thing".... Besides, what would a Star Wars movie be without some strange creature in it..... TPM......Underwater sea creatures, Tatooine animals, Gungan battle animals AOTC....Naboo "cows", Arena creatures, Tusken Raider "dogs" ROTS....more Naboo creatures, Boga from Utapau ANH.....Banthas, Dewbacks, Dianoga, "womprats" and Rontos in special edition ESB......Wampa, Tauntaun, Mynocks, Space Slug ROTJ....frog creature inside/outside Jabba's palace, salacious crumb, Rancor, Sarlacc TFA.......Rathtars RO.........Bor Gullet..only watched it once...so not sure if there were other creatures in the background
  12. LOL.....yeah....I agree with this...RO only works based on everything we already know about SW....that was the reason why TFA was successful....but that is fine....I did not need any background info for RO to "work"....but I did need stuff that made some sense, especially when they need to tie-in to "everything we already knew about SW" from the existing movies....the decision to force the Vader scene connection was the weakest link....it was just fan-service As for him experiencing a muscle injury....who knows...anything is possible at this point....I am watching Rebels season 1 now....and also bought season 2...perhaps there will be some explanations as to his change in combat styles.....his RO style was more like his PT style of brutality......so I guess that was a better tie-in to the PT Vader than the OT....
  13. Sure the rebels could have said whatever they wanted but Vader knew they were lying and that is all that mattered in that situation...it was wrong of him (mission-wise) not to have just killed everyone on-board and then looked for the plans as they "tore the ship apart".....in the very least, know one would have been able to get those plans off the ship...since apparently it is a big "process" to be able to simply "transmit them"......of course, this is all based on the events portrayed in RO just minutes before the start of ANH.....before we had not known "how far" Vader would go to secure the plans......after RO....his "resolve" seems extremely restrained to the point where it is now basically two distinct Vaders...the RO Vader and the ANH Vader.....so everything now needs an explanation.....and I am sure it will be coming soon to a novel or comic near you! Personally, he doesn't think too much of the Death Star compared to the "power of the force"....so perhaps he just doesn't care if the Rebels did find a weakness...which they obviously did.....and the same can be said of his view of the DS2.....the only hint of his true intentions are revealed in ESB, but it is vague as the audience is left feeling if that was his actual plans or just saying lies to lure Luke to the darkside.....perhaps they were further explained in in the recent novels or comics, but I have not followed any of those....
  14. Nah...it was just a way to make Vader a badass again....and they accomplished that...but in a way that really did not fit in with the story as we had known it....they could have done it in another scene involving the rebels... The "Rebels" were being chased after being a part of a major terrorist assault on an Imperial facility....now all I can think is why not just kill everyone on the ship, knowing that they have the plans....and knowing what Vader had just done to part of the ship's crew just minutes before.... Additionally....they were fleeing a "combat" zone....in ANH they claimed that they were on a "diplomatic mission"...Darth Vader was witness to the fact that they were not....who were they trying to fool? Not sure where I read it, but supposedly ANH starts within 10 minutes after RO ends....
  15. So what is the explanation being given for why Vader went all Sith psycho at the end of RO...but minutes later gets lazy and lets his storm troopers board the same ship and just chokes one guy? It ruins the start of ANH. Although it was the coolest scene in the entire RO movie....it didn't really tie logically into the beginning of ANH as they seem to want everyone to believe and now lessens the impact of that entire opening scene of ANH. If they wanted to cash in on that Vader, they should have just game him his own "anthology". Maybe they are hoping you read some book or comic to get the "explanation" at some point...
  16. Have a Wonderful Christmastime MacrossWorld!
  17. It looks like it is.....still a FAIL...and worse....a ripoff of a non-TV design... The wait for the prophesized DX TV SDF-1 continues....
  18. They should have paid Nyankodevice for his SDF-1.....
