    What collections of arms would you recommend for 2-ship and 3-ship formations? For the 2-ship formation, I might try to pull off something like that Tenjin M&M illustration.

    Honestly, In other news, I just watched Knights of Sidonia. Right before going into it I saw some relatively negative reviews online, so I wasn't expecting much. I was quite pleased with what I got. Reminds me of a cross between Macross and Attack on Titan, or AoT and BSG. Looking forward to more.

    Can't help but notice there are no pictures of the intake area from the underside. That area didn't look particularly tight in the prototype.

    One of my stands was more wobbly than the other. This might not be elegant enough for some of you, but I tore a piece of paper to the right length and several times the width of the slot, folded it over several times, and shoved it in along with the base piece. No wobble, base will stay attached if you pick it up by the figure. All a matter of getting the right number of folds. Looking forward to the next run.

    Supposedly there's a new preview coming on the 5th or 6th. There's speculation on EvaGeeks as to what it will entail. My favorite is the guy who said it would be the same exact preview as was at the end of 2.0...

    This. You might need it for more dynamic poses, but mine has no trouble standing without it on my desk. It doesn't flop over when I bump my desk. I bet if I started shaking the desk the 171EX I have on the upper level would topple first. You can't pick it up by the shoulders without the brace like you would another Bandai valk. But once you figure out to grab it either by the hinge, or with one finger above and one finger below the waist, you're fine.

    For the longest time, each new valk purchase was going to the top of the list of valks to sell if I ever needed money. Not so with this one. I really like it. Absolutely love all the fine tampo detail like all the "NO STEP" stencils on the wing. Was able to figure out the transformation without consulting the instructions or a video. Quite solid in Battroid, no fear that I've got it partially or improperly transformed. And this is without using any of the braces. Nothing is perfect though - a few minor annoyances: Ankles can't seem to support a very aggressive Gerwalk stance without the nose flopping forward when the intakes are locked. "CAUTION MISSILE" is printed upside-down on all of the missile doors. The vertical stabilizers could really use click action so you know where to stop for fighter and battriod.

    Whoa... I was thinking that the AoT people would sure love it if a YF-19 popped in that they could use against the Titans when it hit me - AoT is basically Macross without Valkyries or music as a plot element, and with a severe tech downgrade.
