  1. Did I see gap fill pieces for the back of the thrusters in battroid? Or did i dream that up?

Do you mean covers for the gaps on the back of the legs? That's what I was hoping they are, but it's hard for me to visualize how they fit together.

  2. Hmmm? Transformation issues??

But we are again going to have a pointy intake edges like Ver1. and loosing thick image from lineart...

The Yamato YF-19 air inlets are fixed to a bigger piece behind/ontop of them. The Arcadia YF-19 has these pieces separate, and may have separated these pieces to give more poseability in battloid, and adding material to the top may kill that extra flexibility.

  3. IMO : The only things wrong with ST:III were, Savik being played by a different actress, and Chekov's terrible wardrobe. Other than those things, that movie is win. Stealing the enterprise scene is one of my favorite out all of Star Trek.

The 2009 reboot was promising, but seemed off to me. The new one had it's moments, but overall I cannot recommend it.

Here's a great review by Red Letter Media.

  4. I think I missed the last shipment. Last I heard there were problems with some of the sourced parts. Hoping I can still get the last shipment if I missed it. I'll PM Cap.

Was thinking of commissioning someone to build mine. If anyone is interested, lmk.

Edit: I meant build and paint. Wanted to clarify.

  5. What about Carl's suggestion a few posts back. The joints could be 3d printed???

Just don't give up Captain! We won't either. Been waiting for this for too long. Thanks.

  6. These things went for a fortune back in the day. I have not paid attention to prices on these in years.

With the Yamato versions being available, it seems to me they would be worth less than a few years ago, but then again the Studio Half-Eyes are getting more rare.

I would start at $200 for all 3, but that's just me, and that's a lot less than they went for say 5 years back. I would wait until you have more responses before making a decision. i could be way off.

Good luck, I love these kits when finished well, but you hardly ever see them finished. ;)

  7. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 1

THE WALKING DEAD---Frank Darabont has fired Season 1's writing team and will replace them with freelance writers. Executive producer Charles Eglee was also fired. Darabont wrote Season 1's first two episodes and co-wrote the other four.

What happened, did they ask for more money?

  8. Wait a minute, they didn't bother to panel line the Yamato, but they panel lined the Andromeda, WTF?

    -Kyp

The SOC Yamato has the same amount of panel lining as the Andromeda pictured above. Got mine the other day (Ami Ami). Kinda impressive, thought it would be bigger though. Didn't come with batteries for the remote, not sure about the ship itself, haven't really opened it up yet. Has some weight to it, but I hope it never gets knocked over. Wings just pop right onto and off of the ship, kinda slick.

  9. Can I sign up for 1?

For some reason, this is my favorite mecha of all time. I just rechecked the (pardon the term) "gimmicks" you already had planned. Going to be amazing!
