  1. Fake trailer? Dammit, I hate fake trailers! Not even going to click on it if it is.
  2. It is a good idea to leave as little as possible to clean up for those loved ones we leave behind. I wouldn't call myself a hoarder, as my 'hoard' is put up in an attic space (and only a little has spilled over into the bedroomπŸ˜‹) and of course there are plans to build them all, but still, things happen. Both life and un-life... I wonder if anyone has contacted model clubs in their area and made any plans to donate their stash should the unfortunate happen? Would probably need to catogorize it all and keep up to date on which kits are started and which are untouched. But a good sized stash being donated to a model club, esp if they do the yearly shows, could help them out. Donated-on from there or raffled off at the show would help them out some.
  3. I'm an EP behind, so I have two more to go! I might wait until after next Fri and watch them together.
  4. Nice bit of intricate masking going on there, @electric indigo.
  5. Good news, for the most part. I did like it, but there are things I hope they change, such as some better writing. There were quite a few moments of old cheese in there. I imagine they were trying to copy some humor from the animated series and it just didn't carry over well. Another is the actors playing Sokka and Zuko...
  6. There is a resin model of it that I would love to get that looks proportionally correct and awesome! @pengbuzz Looking great! Nice to see a full crew in there. Dom is going to look fine back there 'in the pit.' As to the missing feet... I have no answer, though I can promise* there is no fetish involved!😊 Thom *In truth, I can make no promises...
  7. Yes, it's just set in the Tron universe. That was one of the drawbacks of Legacy, as there was far too little of Tron, though I rewatched it today and, except for the de-aging, it holds up well enough. Looking back, I think they should have spent their money on de-aging Boxleiter in order to show more of Tron rather than having two versions of Flynn, but that's water spilled ten years ago. Plus, the Tron movies should be about (Tron of course!) being on the Grid. AI's done in the real world have been done before, and really hold little interest for me. So, yeah, so far less reason to watch this.
  8. I remember being (and still) disappointed by Breetai's flagship. Wonder how that happened? Anyway, nice progress @SteveTheFish. Your little Zentradi fleet is coming together! Same for the P-38!
  9. No, I think GB II no longer happened. There were no references at all in Afterlife to the sequel, just throwbacks to the original, Unless, of course, they toss some in with this sequel... Well, if we're bringing other franchises into the mix, NYC is a favorite target!
  10. Well, only two major apocalypses in thirty years*, so I think they're doing pretty good. *before anyone mentions Ghostbusters II, I think it's been retconned out of existence.
  11. With it oriented like that, well scrolling down it's like it is launching up into the sky!
  12. @Urashiman Fitment notwithstanding, I hope the Scion is enjoying the modelling adventure!
  13. Man, I had such a crush on her back in 'the day.'😁 But yeah, Moebius gave separate chest pieces for either a male or female pilot.
  14. @VertexNebula Welcome! And a nice intro. Looks like a nice little kit, fitment notwithstanding. Any idea of scale? @pengbuzz Those will be in a shuttle flight heading out Monday from Caprica. They had a little too much RnR, so treat them gently. And by 'gently' I mean Drill Sergeant Gently! whip them into fine shape! And if you use the one with the bust one will be in even finer shape! @Urashiman Your Padewan has a nice eye for a pretty plane. And gray is good. I looked around a came actoss this... Or this... Glad he (and you) are having fun with it! Thom
  15. Whether or not CLU's plan would have worked depends a lot on 'hand-wavism.' A lot of sci-fi works best with a certain level of suspension of belief, esp since that in movies reality/physics generally bend to the will of the story. It's been a decade since I saw it last, but I think I recall that there was some fear that Quoora would not survive the transition to the real world, but then we see her on the back of Sam's bike, enjoying the sunrise just before the credits role. For me, that lends some credence that it was possible for the rest to happen also. It's the fiction part of sci-fi.πŸ˜‰
  16. Send it to me again to make sure I have the right one. Thom
  17. Hey, Peng! Don't know if you've already considered them, but how about Colonial Viper pilots? The 1/32 Mark VII Vipers comes with a pilot and the helmet is similar to the Airwolf helmets, as in completely closed up like a biker helmet. If you need two, I got two. Thom
