  1. Star Trek: Discovery

They have to spruce it up to keep new fans enticed. By your current logic, then even the discovery technically looks too advanced for the timeline as well.
  2. MAZINGER Z INFINITY: in theatres January 2018

Everyone has their own methods of collecting, and I'm not knocking how anyone collects. I personally need a connection with things I collect. Just gave my 2 cents on the movie. I was always on the fence with the Mazinger MB, as it doesn't really fit my collection, and the common problem of every collector being space. Kinda wanted it for MB completionist sakes, but again the movie killed Mazinger for me. Delta wasn't that bad, and had its memorable moments. I'd rate Delta as a 4 out of 10, the Mazinger movie would drop into the negatives. Literally one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life, and I consider myself to be a movie buff. Yeah that was a tough movie to stay awake in. I had to fight the Z monster in the 3rd qtr of the movie. The movie felt like it was 4 episodes that played back to back with the intros and ending themes cut. The sound was off a bit too, the characters voices were all too loud, it sounded like they were yelling at the top of their lungs the whole movie, but that could have been attributed to the theater. I thought the Mazinger body missile scenes would be more dramatic a la the Metal build promo pics, but nope.
  3. MAZINGER Z INFINITY: in theatres January 2018

By god, this was a horrible movie, I watched it for free in theaters, but even watching it for free I felt like it was a rip off, as it stole 2 hours from my life. Glad I didn't buy the MB either, as the movie killed Mazinger for me.
  4. Bandai DX VF-31

Disregard the wings, and look at the head, I can't be certain, but the face looks like it has a mono eye and not a visor, hence why I think it may be a 31A? Hoping someone has, or can post a better picture of that left page. I wouldn't doubt Bandai pulling a fast one, as it would allow them to sell another Hayate Valk.
  5. Bandai DX VF-31

Kind of interested to see what is on the left page, I think I spy a VF-31A in Hayate colors?
  6. Hi-Metal R

I ordered 3, and yeah they are sending it sal Parcel. Can't remember the exact amount, but I think it was 4253 yen or something in that area.
  7. Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Yeah YesAsia is legit, but their prices are high. Shoot at $400 I would sell you one of mine.
  8. Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Guess they got me haha. I find Bandai to be unpredictable. Hopefully it goes up on NY for a cheaper price then, and then I will try to cancel my order with CDJapan.
  9. Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Yeah the JP site doesn't ship to NA. You have to use a proxy service to order off the JP site. They have a US site that is based and ships out of HK. http://us.p-bandai.asia/ The site is being sluggish right now though.
  10. Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Didn't order from anime-export because I thought they were charging an arm and a leg. the biginjapan price isn't bad compared to what I just paid. 35000 Yen. For those that have missed the various windows CDJapan has 4 left as of this post. Cost me $325 after shipping. Still $54 cheaper then bbts. http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-256789?s_ssid=e33b705a0c5b5b63fb I wouldn't hold your breath. Wing Zero was a different beast. One of the most popular Gundam's in the U.S. that appeared in an OVA/movie and was listed on the U.S. P Bandai site as well. They posted it on the U.S. P Bandai site early on. The Astraea Type F is obscure having only been featured in a manga, and with the lack of a U.S. P Bandai posting I don't think odds are hight that this item will reopen. I just have this feeling that this one will be rare, as anime-export posted it early on, btts has a crazy upcharge on it, cdjapan had a higher then normal upcharge as well, and NY is nowhere to be found. I feel that this thing may be limited release, as Bandai probably figured demand wasn't to high; thereby, limiting supply which in turn is driving up demand. Bandai be messing with us, telling us that pre order madness can strike anywhere haha.
  11. Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Hopefully this shows up on the US P bandai site, so that we don't have to pay NY and their recent snail shipping speeds.
  12. Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Yup Bandai's assaults on our wallets seem to be relentless lately. After the surprise VF-31A preorder, their is no more logic to Bandai releases. Our wallets are no longer safe lol. The Astray red frame I can't blame them for the route they went. For some reason it's a popular design, and it seems they can't pump out enough red frames. The Astraea not so much, so I don't think they will go as wild. I figure the Astraea Type F is a web exclusive to figure out demand for the white version which will probably get a retail release.
  13. Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Was gonna skip this, but then looked up the white Astraea, now I want both smdh. You already know what Bandai will do with the F2 parts, cash grab=option parts. But here's hoping they include. Bandai is killing my wallet Q4 2017 - Q1 2018. I'm actually hoping for a break next year.
  14. Full Metal Panic! Action Figures

CDjapan was actually cheaper then hlj by like $2, probably due to the difference in their conversion system. Scored 1 via hlj, and one at cdjapan. March is looking like it's gonna be an expensive month. Mospeada Stick, VF-31A's, and now MB Arbalest.
