    Goblin Slayer S2 has me at a quandary now, most of S2 so far is Book 7 with a smattering of content from earlier. The anime has skipped Books 2,3,4 and 6. And currently is on a drag race through high elf archers sisters wedding arc with much content skipped. Sousou no Frieren is the breakout of this season, Frieren is everywhere on the image boards and Frien is apparently *ahem quite popular as well. I started reading the manga, it also helps the mangaka is a fan of Macross. Shield hero Season 3, I'm not fully caught up but this series has largely lost my interest. Only reason why I am still watching is because the group is doing so. Hametsu no Oukoku, another that I am not fully caught up on. The group dropped this one early because the MC turned into a giant douche. I'll put this on my list to see if it gets any better, the first few episodes were pretty graphic. Faraway Paladin S2, Its keeping its slow pacing going they returned the abandoned city that most of S1 was set in and now apparently its starting to pick up abit. I can see why people would drop this but I am gonna stick with it for now. Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki, the anti gamer MMO game anime. Or AKA the game based anime I like because they aren't doing the inside gamer jokes that nobody but gamers get. I'd say this series is entertaining at least, nothing to write home about but its good enough to keep going at least for me. Helck, honestly I don't even know what is going on with this series, I am a few episodes behind now and any real draw has long since faded. I will slog it through to the end. Mahou Tsukai no Yome Season 2 Cour 2.. Boring. nothing else to add really.

    Yeah, its been on a steady downward trend starting with the 2nd half of the first season. I am still a few episodes behind on S2 Part 2.

    I do agree that having a separate forum for Both RT "Macross" toys and Macross toys is silly. I think the issues were with the all things RT were bad crowd, this has largely abated as the fandom aged but its still there. Call it Purists, or Fanboys... whatever. Looking past that I want to talk about Calibre Wings directly.. Where in the MW rules does its say we cannot discuss Calibre Wings? For those that don't know.. original post is here.. Then when that thread closed.. I started this one.. My issue is that the thread was closed without any reason other then pointing back to a closed thread. I am not trying to pick on the Moderators here, but really? I want to discuss the product, if I can't because the same few people are causing issues.. This seems to be the same in other threads, so deal with the trouble makers. Simply put that is what a moderator is for. Sorry @Pontus not trying to derail your thread.. your point is very valid just trying to show some history.

    I'd recommend Flying Mule.. even better if there is a coupon code for it. My only issue with direct ordering is I have had less then stellar luck with the flying monkeys doing international shipping. I know its a risk you run, but I started using Flying Mule because of this. I'm gonna be honest, I've got better pictures but my last thread about this got closed. Apparently some unwritten rule about CW releases now. 😑

    This is disappointing to hear, I know that S1 took up most its run by setting up the MC. Looks like we'll be screening this tonight so I will give some feedback then.

    I'm still playing catch up from last season, but I am enjoying the few of this season I am following. Sousou no Frieren, I am really enjoying this show as its surpassed what I expected from it. I'm behind an episode or 2 but should be caught up this week. Goblin Slayer S2, another series that I am enjoying. I am also familiar with the novels, definitely not a "lost cause". I am curious if they are doing some things out of order or if they plan on going back to any of the events prior. Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki, not much of an MMO or game anime fan TBH. This series however has tended to lay off the trend of Edge Lording the main character so far. I am enjoying this much more then the group favorite Log Horizon.. I am holding on Shield Hero S3, and Spy x Family until I get more free time. I am hoping Shield Hero S3 is better then the mess S2 was.

    Its been forever since I sat down and played this.. TBH the intro was probably the best part so you might have lucked out. 2 things I remember from this.. 1.) if you S rank all missions you can play as Max DYRL Strike 1S on the final mission. 2nd I might be confusing with VFX-2 but there is a mission where you have to follow a ship that constantly shoots at you, just dodge and be patient, if you shoot at the ship you fail the mission. At the time I couldn't understand any of the text or speech.. now I'm like DOH!

    It looks like they made a Toynami Super Pose-able and made it transformable. I'm down for a Stampy Valk. But I still like it.. its quirky.

    I got dragged along this season and with things wrapping I will add my thoughts.. Helck.. TBH not as terrible as I thought but nothing to write home about either. Most of this series completely ignores the events that set the whole series up in the first few episodes. I would assume that this will start coming back into focus in the 2nd half. However this series is too silly for me to take seriously no matter what they decide to do. The Duke of Death S2.. As I mentioned previously I absolutely loathe this CGI . The group I watch with kept at it and much content was cut to push this series down the path. The 2nd season ends with the start of the climax of series. Basically its going to be read the Manga to know more.. OR we actually get a S3 depending on how S2 did. And an update.. As already known this series is focusing on much of the content that was edited out of Horimiya. TBH as a standalone this series really does not make any sense as it jumps around ALOT. It also seems to focus on making Hori look terrible on how she treats Morimiya. You MUST be familiar with the source to debunk either of this. Regardless I really enjoyed Horimiya as a whole, I still would recommend it but only after watching the original series. Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha â…¡, Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta, Hataraku Maou-sama!! 2nd Season... I have the same opinion for all 3.. Dropped. I know my group kept up with Megane, but I passed. Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi, Not terrible, but not particularly noteworthy either. I have seen worse takes on this trope, but in the words of the Mrs. Its cute enough to keep her interest. I went along for the ride. Undead Girl Murder Farce.. It started with an interesting premise, but lost me with the "Pretty Boy" variants of Lupin and the Phantom of the Opera. I have caught up to episode 11 as of writing this, so unless they stick the ending.. meh. Temple.. I am up to episode 11 of this one as well, Its a Harem Rom-Com with ample ecchi. I don't expect this series to end with any real BANG, so if you enjoy the premise you'll like this. If not.. pass. Lv1 Maou to One Room Yuusha.. this is my choice for Best of the season. Its not itself anything SUPER but it stuck its ending and was a standout in an otherwise weak summer season. AI no Idenshi.. this was my late addition, with many people talking about it being an underdog. I am only 2 episodes in and will try to finish if I can get into it.

    I'm still on the fence. I'll wait till the product is in hand and see what the verdict is. Even then I may just hold off entirely since I have so many other VF1s floating around.

    I really enjoyed this series, mostly because it was dumb, had plenty of humor and a good helping on ecchi. Don't expect depth cause there is none, but it held my interest. I probably should go through and give it a rewatch. I had to sit through the first few episodes of this, I think the art is really well done but its premise is weak. The viewer is expected to go along with the main gag every episode and its not a particularly interesting series to start with. Again I only got through 4 episodes before I tuned it out, it was rinse and repeat at that point. Looking ahead and Fall Anime season looks to be quite strong...

    RIP Met this guy, while SM was doing a tour and ended up at a local theater in Grand Junction CO. Small Venue he came out and hung out with the fans was super cool, but also super drunk. Shame. Rest in Peace Shrek song guy..

    Been awhile since I have heard anything from Calibre Wings.. then I stumbled across this. I am shocked this has not popped up sooner. Continuing the 1/72 VF-1 Series line is a 40th anniversary gem.. Flying Mule has them for preorder currently ..

    about as much as they are into limited releases! Seriously though, doesn't this price point pretty much kill the Toynami 1/100 line? Outside of the vintage box art, KC is better in every way at this price point.

    Kinda went down the Youtube rabbit hole, and found an Anisong that I have never heard before that was quite the Banger of an ending. I figured I'd give the anime a go Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon. I am about halfway through it, circa 2015 and its nothing spectacular but its better then 95% of whatever they are pushing currently. TBH the ending theme "Calling my Twillight" is the most outstanding part of this whole series..

    Possibly.. I am still chuckling at the 100 pcs line.. Right now I am looking at about 6 different versions of the Fokker/Hikaru 1S. each one was super limited!!!! I am enjoying the unique paint schema's but KC needs to put out something other then a VF-1S to keep my interest. Suggestion.. SD GBP maybe?

    I'm slacking this season, I've missed most of the group watches cause car stuff. With that said.. Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto aka Zom100 is probably my favorite of this season. The manga was enjoyable and I am curious how far the anime adaptation is going to go. Its more lighthearted then your typical Zombie genre, Its no HOTD, or School Live.. Horimiya -piece- Also really enjoying this one. Its hard to keep up with all the skipping, but again I like the fact that they are going back and covering some of the skipped content in this series. I admit I am biased as I enjoyed the Horimiya TV anime along with the Manga source. Lv1 Maou to One Room Yuusha. Also enjoying this one, the back and forth between the Demon Lord and the Hero is amusing. Not much to it to be honest unless it pulls something out of left field but its entertaining enough to keep me coming back. There are several others that the group is following.. Kenshin, Helck, Duke of Death S2... and a few other that I can't remember. I may give Kenshin a go after it runs, if I care enough to do so. I'm familiar with the manga, and the original anime. And it doesn't have Heart X Sword as one of its ED songs.. so meh. Helck.. is pretty vanilla only caught an ep or 2 early on seemed kinda silly. Duke of Death S2.. I really enjoyed the manga for this.. but the CG artwork killed the first season, 2nd season is the same so I safely pass.

    So what price point are they going to be selling the D at? If its gonna be $30-$40 then I don't see an issue. I still have mine from the 90s and it looks to be about the same other then button placement and the separating saucer.
