Major Focker
good news indeed. would be a welcome addition to the mecha factory set. at that size, really makes lighting a possibility
electric indigo
Let's hope this doesn't go the way of the Tomahawk.

Kremmen
Naturally, I'm disappointed it isn't 1/35th. But I think I'll buy one of the piddly little things anyway.
big F
Even at 1/100 this is still a big mother. Lets hope it doesnt go the way of the Dodo before its released,

PetarB
What a great time to be a Macross modeler. I can hardly believe it!

macrossnake
I just saw it at the show, my jaw dropped to the floor. I want a 1/60... Before the dream happen, I will get this one for sure!
ruskiiVFaussie
Yeha i'm in for one. lol. 1/100 is a great scale, lots of valk types to group up with this monster!
ahiachris
Since I'm already deep into 1/72 and 1/144 there's no plans for me to step into 1/
ruskiiVFaussie
With all the Bandai and numerous other 1/100 scaled stuff (not o mention fully variable), it's very attractive.
cowie165
What a great time to be a Macross modeler. I can hardly believe it! You said it Petar! I can hardly believe it either - it's the only 1/100 Macross kit I was hoping for but thought I'd never see! Very exciting news.
007-vf1
Since I'm already deep into 1/72 and 1/144 there's no plans for me to step into 1/100 That's my train of thought. Back in the 90's and earlier 2000 there were not that many affordable mecha to collect from. 1/100 would have been my scale of choice but there was not that much available until Mac-plus and 7 came along. Now that things have changed for the better, seems there's plenty of choices on all scales. By now I have settled for 1/72 and 1/144 exclusively. neko_fr
Oohh no, not now! I don't have any more monney for now, please! I'm only in 1/72 scale, but for this one, I'll make the cacrifice By the way, talking 1/72, the pilots at studiostarforge are great, even if it takes some time to come...maybe a monster in 1/72, one day (I'll have to buy more of these guys )
Valkyrie addict
f*cking hell, why are they coming out with all this cool stuff now that it's almost impossible for me to keep scale modeling.. buuuuuu cool, finally a new Monster, let's hope the details levels is good, their non-scale VF-0S were a bit lacking
ron5864
Oh wow! I am definitely interested in one of these, even though I already have the ARII 1/160 scale version. Start saving $$ for this. Does anyone know if the joints are moveable?
MechTech
I scratch built one in 1/100 and YES, this thing will be BIG! The 1/160 kit will not touch this size wise. I love the detail and posability if these proto pictures say anything! It's on my wich list too-always have a spare (even though I build 1/200 mostly). - MT
Kremmen
I'm gonna go a bit kinky for a second and just say...I LOVE THE FEET! The Monster's feet are often captured a little 'off' in 3D but from what we've seen so far this one looks like they've got them just right. Big and curvy. Excillon
Meh, I want a 1/60 kit dammit.
Kremmen
Meh, I want a 1/60 kit dammit. 1/60 isn't a kit scale, so, sorry, not gonna happen. Also, it would be so big that even I would struggle to justify it, and I'm a freak for bigger kits.
Cent
Oh my god. Im so getting this. But uhh... Why arent the cannons hollowed out? Edited October 25, 2009 by Cent
AcroRay
Oh my god. Im so getting this. But uhh... Why arent the cannons hollowed out? Probably because the piece on display is a pattern hardcopy, not an actual injection-molded sample. I'm really pleased with this. Most of my SDFM stuff is either 1/55 or 1/100, so it'll fit in nicely. (If I want something bigger, I'll build the papercraft kit.) CF18
So they are still working on it... Edited October 14, 2010 by CF18
Major Focker
i don't mind the delay. i just really hope it doesn't become vaporware. btw, looking at the bottom most pic, was the MkII supposed to be that pointy?
cool8or
If we could enlarge that kit to 1/72...
Ghadrack
If we could enlarge that kit to 1/72... Well, Senor Salzo did put his project on hold, but I think that his 1/72 may still make a re-appearance for those that missed out on the first run. Barring financial catastrophy I'll be picking up a second one. 1/100 is cool, but the 1/72 is as big as a dog
cool8or
I have Mike's v1 Monster too, but I'd like to see a Wave version, an industrial and plastic version can be plenty of details, and it's cheaper too.
505thAirborne
Any ideas for what this MONSTER will cost? This would be my 1st MKII in over 12 years, I want this guy!!!
MechTech
I still think big is sexy - at least in this case. I'm looking forward to this. I'll just have to buy it for my son so we can build it together - then keep it in my area ;^) - MT
